I bought the Morphy Richards steam generator iron TSV last July, and it suddenly stopped working last month. I contacted the Q- they sent a courier the next day, it was marked as returned 3 days later and I have just had a text that they are refunding the full amount.

I am annoyed as I really liked the iron but I still think it is pretty good service considering I used it from August- May.

It's service just as it should be, given it conked out in less than a year, nothing outstanding. Though that's not to say I wouldn't be pleased too :mysmilie_59:

You were within the 12 months so, I agree, the Q acted appropriately and legally. I must iterate, however, I have had nothing other than excellent customer service from the Q, going above and beyond what is required of them. This is one of the main reasons, along with the 30 day mbg, why I continue to shop with QVC.

I guess QVC can't be held responsible for products malfunctioning - they only sell them, not manufacture them and some products will always die on you. They do help you though when you phone them. Recently I had two very fast refunds for dead plants. One time I bought a set of stick on lights and one broke - they were quite cheap anyway but when I phoned up to see if they'd replace just one they couldn't do it but refunded my P&P instead. I've always found them really good when you want something sorted out and that's also why I continue to shop with them.

My Mum ordered the Alpha H collection from the 'Got To Have It Day' and it still hasn't arrived. I tracked it yesterday for her and it seems it's never left HERMES, so I told her to ring QVC and complain about it and she did and they have sent her a replacement today.

I'm another who has never had anything other than excellent customer service and not just via the 30 day MBG or anything within legal rights.

As a frustrated customer of many companies that run overseas customer service centres, I'm of the opinion that their UK-based CS is priceless.
