You are not covered by consumer rights for made to order items with a change of mind. So how will QVC cover their asses if people custom order then don't like it, they will be unlikely to be able to sell the item again?

What can possibly go wrong?

OK, it's a novel idea for QVC but who's brave enough to order a bespoke outfit for such a big occasion as a wedding from QVC? They're not exactly renowned for getting the right item and size to you when you just make a choice from a set selection. And 4-6 weeks delivery probably means you need to order 3 months before the date it's required for.

I would agree with you but over the past few years I have known of a few people who have bought them from China!

I'd have more faith ordering from China than I would from QVC.

I`ve seen a lot of disasters from China, the papers regularly have articles showing photos of disastrous wedding or prom dresses which look nothing like the photos the Chinese post on Ebay or other websites.
I wouldn`t buy a wedding or bridesmaid dress from Q. For a start the items are flogged on telly where the World and its wife can see them and nobody ever fits perfectly into an off the peg bridal gown, it always needs altering somewhere even if only the length. There are reasonably priced wedding dresses out there and when I remarried in mt late 50`s just over 6 years ago the shop ordered mine made to measure from Romantica of Devon bridal wear which is a UK manufacturer and it arrived 6 weeks before the wedding and the seamstress in the bridal shop tweaked it because I wanted the train made shorter. It cost me less than this wedding dress by Ghost.

Totally agree. The styles look very nice but what looks like bias cut satin would make me run to the diet book even if I was a size 10!
I hope I am not too pessimistic but I feel this is not a good move! Hopefully those who entrust their cash to this venture prove me wrong.

you more than likely pick your colour and size so hardly bespoke i would imagine you have the 30 day mbg i can't see why not
