Gatinuae Throat Gel

Forgive my ignorance, but why a neck cream at all? Isn't an ordinary moisturiser for the face ok?

Well to be honest the throat gel came as part of a set, all the other products I had used before and they were all fine, just the gel that caused problems. Unfortunately it all had to go back.

You do make a good point though, since then Ive only ever used my normal face cream on the neck area and up to now its all holding up well!!

so it's my neck's fault my boobs went south? whouda thunk......

Yes AY told us this many years ago. It was in the days when we actually got real advice about problems and not which celeb used the products.

As someone who has big boobs, I took note and bought the Body Shop one.:giggle:

I did get the Gatineau one in kits and really liked it. But then Mr Andrew Smooth Operater kept telling us that in fact we needed a moisturiser over it too!! So I moved on.

What about just wearing a good bra and slapping some moisturiser on the back and décolleté? I'm sure all these serums (for face, throat, eyes etc) are just hocus pocus and a beauty industry spiel to get you to spend even more? I'm not convinced they are needed at all. The only caveat to that is facial oils. Suffering from very dry skin, I do find a couple of drops of facial oil before moisturising a huge help. I'm currently using The Sanctuary facial oil which I bought half price in a sale for £9. does the job nicely. I use it on my throat and décolleté too.

I have always avoided the Gatineau throat gel, purely because of the large number of reviews stating they got a horrible reaction from it, which I definitely don't want to risk, ta very much!
I might give the M&S one a try though (thanks Donna!), which particular line is it, or do they only do the one neck & throat product?

One of the reasons I started using PCMC is because the therapist who sold it to me in the first place said I could use it from forehead to décolleté. Keeley now seems to advise otherwise but I'm 50 (as of this weekend) and I still have very few wrinkles for my age. My neck could be better I suppose but it's still pretty good and despite my size 18 backside my jawline is pretty good too. I might try the M&S neck cream though because I always feel it's best to start looking after your skin before it gets to be a problem.

A lot of it though is luck and genetics though. I am grateful to my mum for her genes and colouring.
