I've got similar torches to these, a different shape and no remote, and they are really good. I got two for my mum as well and she loves them. Paid similar price to this but they are worth it. Very realistic and bright.

Mine are the IW ones, the early model but they do them now in different flame colours and can be charged via USB instead of just sun. I like the orange ones though, Mr CC thought they were real flames (as did my mum's neighbour).

Thanks. There was actually one day this week that the price was showing £24 but with a higher postage. Kinda makes the value of a 1 day tsv price look rather silly.

Actually I thought the IW ones had a better 'flicker'.
Yes, far better flames in the IW ones. These QVC lamps just seem to pulse in and out if you know what I mean rather than have "dancing" flames.

With this awful rain there probably wouldn't be enough light to charge them! Hope you like them when you get them set up.
