Gabbling presenters

I think Julia knows about clothes as I’m sure she has made clothes and knitted garments in the past. Debbie is very good too and I do like it when she puts the BA is her place when saying a garment will be suitable for all height. She points out that she is. 5ft 3in and that a 57” maxi dress would too long for her.

I also hate the overuse of gorgeous as a description. IMHO the majority are more hideous than gorgeous. Same for say a model looks gorgeous in a certain design. Yes, some do, but a lot don’t, mainly as they’re “styled” in the wrong size.

It's been said before that the back room 'stylists' at QVC are not much cop. Most of the 'gorgeous' models are a size small and the corresponding size 10 doesn't always fit properly and the larger sized models are crammed into a size much too small. Maybe the stylists don't get a full range of samples in all sizes. I wish models on QVC would represent more sizes, e.g. large and short, as well as slim and tall. I don't think this will ever happen, though. But, Debbie does speak up for larger sized women, using herself as an example. Julia is not always honest about her size.

Oh I don't doubt she's a wonderful mother, she has the mindset of a toddler. Being a television presenter is the only viable job she could ever have. There's no way she could actually hold down a real job in the real world.

I always switch off when she's on but caught her on with Glen a few days ago and could not stop watching. Car crash telly. She's so rude and aggressive. How anyone can watch her is beyond me.

Ah yes. Did everyone know that Chloe has a wife and two little ones at home and has no time to herself and has to get up at 6.30am every day. Well it's nice to know Chloe and I'm happy for you but I don't need you to tell me every single time you are on a show - which is actually quite a lot these days. Oh and I'm sorry about your mum and dad's hip replacements as well, all five of them, or was it three? I must pay more attention.

Fuming with her today on this morning shown on about the electric toothbrush and why on earth people use cheap £2 ones from shops should be banned. Well i for one still do. Find electric ones uncomfortable as have bridge fitted and also too big for inside of mouth. She really needs hauling over the coals for her comments this morning. She slagged them off disgracefully. Hope a manufacturer was watching

She does seem to go up and down a bit

Cheap, soft toothbrushes do the job perfectly if you brush properly. Really hard bristle brushes are bad for your gums. I didn't see her presentation, but it seems she will say anything to get a sale and if she said manual toothbrushes are no good and should be banned, she quite simply doesn't know what she's talking about.

I use an Oral B electric toothbrush that I’ve had for years as I find the smaller heads much easier to use than a manual one. I buy the replacement brushes from whoever is selling the cheapest. Rarely pay more than £2.50 per brush. If I’m going on holiday, I take a bog standard toothbrush.

Wonder if her baby and toddler she’s always spouting on about use electric or manual?

My dentist told me years ago to always use a soft manual toothbrush and I have never had any problem since.
The first and only time I watched CE I thought she should be taken off air and I've never watched her again.

It would be nice if Julia could get back to being the presenter she used to be, no hairs or graces, unfull of herself and few barbed remarks. I'd like to see all of them present stuff by themselves because I'm sure it would calm a lot of them down not having to compete for air time or even, eg with Alex Kramer and Jenny Blackhurst, not having any on-screen tension.

Alex Kramer apparently shares a room with Jackie Kabler whose off-the-cuff remark recently about them sharing a very small dressing-room together made me wonder about tensions between egos.
