Bought a few of these when FU first brought them to air years ago, and they were a similar price back then !

I watched the start of the launch show and was quite interested but the fur is so thick, I think it looks too bulky at the front. The bustier models look quite large in it. It does look very cosy, though.

Jill Franks and the guest, Evie, were trying to outdo each other in feeling the cold. Jill had already said earlier that she had worn a scarf in the house all day. Evie then said she wore two of the capes at once driving into QVC. “I was lucky enough to have a couple sent as I did some filming with June last week“. I bet they won’t be returned! Just how many “samples” of TSVs get given to presenters?!

Jackie was discussing the up coming TSV with Ruth Langsford. ‘I’ve been errr.... lent one to try’ she says! That’s a new one! What will happen to it when she gives it back?

Sorry, this is going to be a long one!

They do really see their customers as fools. Yes, Jackie you very cleverly handled that. Not. Tell me Jackie, Freebie Flint, Craigie, JR, Kathy Taylor and all the others at Freebie Towers at the receiving end of unnecessary samples, do you all really think that you can conceal your greed by implying that your freebies have been lent to you?
They’ve gone from:
I have been lucky enough to have been given
To:
I have been trialling
To:
I have been given a sample to try out at home
To:
Look what arrived in my Dressing Room
To:
My cat/dog loves this
To:
Watch me unpacking.........
To:
This has been sent out to me
To:
I have been lent

What next? How about someone at QVC stopping all this distasteful, freebie grabbing nonsense. None of them need to be LENT anything. They should do their sampling in the studio and then work alongside the guest who has the detailed product knowledge. Also stop insulting us by needing to order during a presentation or immediately after because of course they had not seen the product before or known they would be presenting it.

Just how many times do you have to “ trial” Elemis, PK shampoo etc etc in your career at Q?

Someone needs to realise that if something is on constant free availability it is NOT a trial, it’s a freebie.

IMO only brand new, never seen before products need to be trialed not something which has been sold for 25 years.

I could be wrong but since every presenter does not present every product why is it that it appears to us punters that all of them seem to find a mysterious parcel arriving at their home.

Presenter samples and jewellery shown on air used to go to the outlet shops (or shop, singular as it is now.)
I was mooching in Shrewsbury once, a few years ago, and the girl at the jewellery counter was explaining to a customer that, that was the reason it was mostly small ring sizes available as most of the presenters had slim fingers.
