I see there's going to be a new series on the Food of Britain. Expect lots of warm words about 'sustainability', 'traceability', 'small producers' and 'supporting our local communities' whilst paying through the nose for very little.
What do we expect to see? Miniscule pieces of 'artisan' cheeses for £8 plus £5.95 P&P? Maybe a bottle of 'single estate' apple juice from some organic grower for £15 + £5.95 P&P. Tiny Christmas puddings which could be mistaken for a small after-dinner mint for £18?
