I really want to try one of these pans. They have really good reviews. I like the gold one but it worries me when they change the coloured lining from the original. Cooks Essentials coloured lining pans don't seem to have as good reviews as the original black lining.

Reviews look very good. Am intrigued. If the price is right I might be tempted to package up my old CE pans. Do these ones come with a lifetime guarantee?
 
My mum is looking to buy a frying pan, and this 'try me' pan seems ideal. The deal breaker for me, though, is £5.95 postage. Way over the top for one pan.
 
I am seriously thinking of getting them.....

I was goig to get the ceramic one on try me but still out of stock.

I really like the blue.
 
I just measured the heating area of my ceramic hob, its 20cm....

My HUGEST pan is 26cm.

The 28cm wouldnt fit on my hob without touching the knobs!!

Can that be right????

I am measuring across the base of the pans......it can be the top they are measuring, can it?

Wonder if I could Facebook or Twitter someone at QVC to ask....

I REALLY wanted to get them!

As they they will work on induction hobs ? I am VERY VERY tempted as I do all of my stove top cooking on mine now as my electric rings are so slow and must waste loads of power so costing me ££££ .
I Really like the look of these but I only replaced my cooks essentials ones 6 months ago and really can't justify spending another £70.00 on sauce pans how ever nice they look.:mysmilie_476:
 
I wish the chef doing the TSV would stop saying "Dutch oven" it must mean something completely different in the states than here :giggle: :puke: :smirk:
 
Is this the same as the Stoneline brand that QVC used to sell? I've got the griddle pan in this and it's excellent. Just black, grey and white, mind, no fancy colours, but it does the job perfectly and doesn't stick at all.
 
I don't think I will go for these, although they are rather tempting. I still love my heavy Le Creuset, I have had them since 1987 when we got married and they are still going strong. The weight is a drawback and I think when my wrists start to complain I shall have to go for something a bit lighter. The Try Me is calling- loudly :)

However, I am not sure that the guarantee on these is great, 2 years I think, but even the CE have a lifetime. Having said that, I bought the CE low pressure cooker. I love it but the lid knob broke off after only 4 months and CE refused to honour the guarantee, they said I must have mis-used the pan, which I most certainly didn't. I was annoyed about that and therefore haven't purchased any more kitchen goodies from Q. My local kitchen specialist shop is a bit dearer but they are delighted to have the business! My latest "crush" is my global knives, I am buying 1 a month, naughty but they are fantastic.
