Do you suppose they'll bring the forthcoming Face Inc range to QVC ..... because they don't have enough make-up ranges, do they?!

https://www.nailsinc.com/magazine/coming-soon-face-inc-by-nails-inc/204/

I dread to think what ingredients they'll have, looking at the "health-giving" things they've had in their nail polishes: kale, Omega3, Vitamin this & that, coconut water, matcha (whatever that is), collagen, charcoal, green tea, spirulina. I don't think we have had any quinoa or edamame bean polishes yet?

Leighton Denny introduced self-tan, perfume and lippy but I don't think they had much success on QVC (or did they?). They only have his nail products on the website now, anyway.

"Face inc by Nails inc is a fast-acting skincare range powered by natural actives that delivers amazing results in just 15 minutes".

Just?! Not exactly providing an instant beauty solution, then, is it?! Loads of women are lucky if they get 2mins in the morning to put their face on! I'm all for brands evolving and diversifying, but this seems.. odd. For a make-up company to branch out into skincare, or vice versa, isn't such a stretch, but it is such a competitive sector and - with so much choice available to us - why would we choose to buy our skincare from a fashion nail brand? It will be interesting to see how they market it.

Liz Earle branched out into make up didnt she .Or maybe that's when Avon took over. In order to grow a company has to keep coming up with new ideas . The beauty market is over saturated I'd say. I go into Boots or John Lewis and get put off by the amount of products. I used to dabble more but stick to what I know now.

Trying to find a decent brown/black mascara without any fibres is about the only thing I'm looking for.Almay used to do a brilliant one.

When I ask the beauty ladies for a non fibre mascara they look at me as if I'm from another century.

Oh I am I forgot !

No I've just got very sensitive eyes.

Almaty, now there was a good brand, used to use lots of their stuff.

I don't think I fancy skin care from a polish company, not an obvious expansion as you say.

Sorry, I said it's makeup but looks like it's skincare. Anyway, feel the same as most of you about the idea but I'll have a look when they release it.

As a highly successful brand to be honest I'm surprised it has taken them this long to branch out.

The healthy eating lifestyle/superfoods thing seems to be a strong trend in beauty right now (what with brands like Elemis with their superfood facial oil/cleansing oil bragging hot ingredients in healthy eating.)

Nails Inc. have everything in place in terms of retail outlets and department store presence to lighten the cost of launching into a new arena.

All they really need is magazine/editorial support (which shouldn't be at all difficult given their proven record in nails) and a stand-out product to really capture the buying publics imagination and I can totally see them making a success of it.

Whether superfood ingredients can actually make a difference in topical application to your skin is perhaps somewhat incidental. Personally I doubt whether they can.
