Well I hope it's the last "boot" TSV again....cos it sold out realy quickly and I went on the waitlist, which they actually advertised on air.

I just got my waitlist boots!!! But the camel ones are a better fit than the grey so the grey may go back. But they are beautiful for ugly boots.

What's the sizing like with Emu?
If you're a half size is it better to go up or down?

I thought the sizing was a bit odd tbh when I tried a pair at the Warrington shop, I normally take a 6 but the emu 6 wouldn't go anywhere near??

Gloves sounds good tho. Snuggleeeeeee.

love hate relationship with emu. they are warm and relatively well made but after a few weeks wear they fall off your feet and are too baggy. the shhepskin over streatches. i have quite wide feet but my ankles are narrow and this fitting/sizing is irritating.

uggs on the other hand are sublime. they fit like they were custom made and now emu prices are sky high it pays to shop around and maybe trea yourself to uggs.

Actually I bought a beauuuutiful pair of Ugg like boots last year, BUT they were made in this country - yippeeee, by a firm who specialise in country-wear, AND they were half the price of Uggs but equally as hard wearing. Just shows, you pay for the name.

uggs for quality hands down then emu i am afraid. i have seen too many expensive sheepskin brands yes even at £140 go down at the back like the £15 ones. ultimately the consrtuction is very important not just the look or god forbid the price.

Hi I don't have any TSV details just thought it might be pertinent to mention here that I believe the Distance Selling Regs don't apply to footwear. I've just posted this in the DSR Sticky at the top of the QVC forum. I'm off to look for a bit of clarification but I thought it might be useful if anyone's hoping to order the emu tsv thinking they'll claim back the original p&p if they don't fit.

Update...it seems the BBC item was slightly misleading in that the limitations re shoes simply requires them to be returned unworn in a condition to be resold, in which case I assume you'd get your p&p back. Sorry for the mis-info

ANOTHER EMU TSV ???? It must only have been a couple or 3 weeks since the last one ! and were'nt they slippers ??? in time for Christmas ?

There are an awful lot of company repeat TSVs at the moment. Very boring.

Oh well, looks like we will have to wait til midnight and hope its something we like. How annoying is it to wait up and its not what you want anyway!! ha ha!! I got the slippers and they are great. My first ever emu purchase!!! well, that I have kept. I have ordered the emu stinger lo's in a 5 and 6 for my daughter and they didnt fit and a 7 and an 8 for myself and the 7 was fine although there was something wrong with the right boot and I had to send it back. I paid for all the postage. Didnt know about the DSR. Wish I did could have saved more than fifty pounds. Been better going to a shop and trying on an Ugg boot. Anyway enough ranting. Hope the tsvs and good one.

Santa brought me the slippers too and they are superb! The quick flash ad show it's a Boots TSV.

Looks as though they're a pair of short boots, as Debbie was regularly lifting her foot up during the cookery sale show to let us see her footwear.

I'm not intending to buy them, although I did buy the slippers that were the last TSV. I love them, but have had to regularly pick up bits of shed black sheepskin off the carpet. I don't know if this is what usually happens or whether I've just got a pair of 'moulting' ones.

I have never had a problem with Emus going down on the back and I have mine over a year. The Bronte which is lined with merino wool do go very big after awhile, but the stringer version never have.

You would have thought QVC would put the TSV on easy pay.
