I don't suppose it will be the Talinga slippers, they haven't had them this year...

Slippers would be a good one this close to Christmas but if it is I reckon it'll be the ordinary mule type slippers. Or a variation of.

Seeing as its the 23rd of Dec I doubt they'll be guaranteeing xmas delivery, I expect we'll be back to "January birthdays" as suggestions for buying by then...

I wouldn't buy the Jolie slippers again, I had a refund on my last pair as they had worn so badly after only 3 months, the heel part was bald! I've just bought a pair of slippers from Primark for £4 months and if they last me through the winter I will be quite happy.

i bought some sheepskin slippers from tk maxx 18 moths ago well under £20 and still looking like new. not a sign of wear. my sister had to send back two or three pairs they were such bad quality. replaced with uggs

Behind the brand
EMU was founded in 1994 in Geelong, Australia - the heart of the finest quality sheepskin and merino wool district in the world. EMU's signature boots were originally designed by surfers to combat cold feet after winter surfing, but quickly caught on as a stylish footwear range the world over and are now a wardrobe staple amongst fashionistas.

EMU TSV ..... the sales will be here before this 'bargain' arrives!!

Seriously, who is going to send £130 on sheepskin boots today that won't arrive until well after all the sales have started?
I have just bought some fab quality boots from TKMaxx... rrp £95.... their non-sale price... just £29.99, and posted to me free as I also bought 2 Decleor sets for just £15 each.
QVC - you need to seriously reconsider the Value in your name!!!

I agree with you! I just cannot see the point of having this as a TSV at the moment, as it is something you might want as a present or buy after Christmas with money you have been given, not the day before Christmas Eve. It's like the SBC one yesterday, their Christmas TSV, no chance of it coming in time for Christmas though. It is just stupid and l think QVC would be better putting on something like the Nutri Ninja as a TSV because we might get it in time for our new healthy start in January.

I've never been interested in EMU boots after I saw them in New Zealand at the airport for a fraction of the price they cost in the UK. Unfortunately I couldn't buy them at the time as they were too much to carry. Some of them are a bit "old lady". I remember my great aunt wearing very similar short booties back in the day and I would not have been seen dead in them LOL.

As for the New Year New You thing that will probably start on Boxing Day, make a start by using a smaller plate for every meal. OH and I have done this and it is amazing how much less you eat without realising it and the weight begins to fall off. We haven't felt hungry either as we've tricked ourselves by eating all the same foods as normal so it doesn't feel like a diet. Avoid all those DVDs, exercise wands, bands, ropes, balls, diet chef and weird drinks, if you're watching a lot of telly, get up and run on the spot while the adverts are on or walk up and down the stairs 10 times. This is all completely free and let's face it, health smoothies are awful :mysmilie_8:

AGREED!!!! Hideous looking and so over priced. None of my family or friends would be seen in them. Much more prettier styles in the High Street too :mysmilie_48:
