Ellis Ward joins TJC

What have I missed? How was she shafted? Doesn't surprise me ~ anything's possible with this dodgy outfit! I don't watch TJC but I can imagine the perfectly coiffeured Ellis will fit in perfectly. Good luck to her.
 
Just had a peek at her on now. I haven't seen Ellis for ages cos I don't watch IW these days but I was actually quite impressed with her calm style of presenting on TJC tonight so I hope she doesn't go all manic again. Still not tempted to buy anything though. Is that sleek bob her own or a syrup do you think??

She spouted the same old sayings though.
'We're getting busier & busier & busier for these'. That one did my head in on IW TBH.

And she looked a lot rougher than she did on IW, but the picture quality seemed bad IMO, which won't have helped.

She's had a bob for a while now and I'm pretty certain it's her own as it changes over time. I thought she's looking a bit drawn and tired but the IW quality is so bad that it's probably due to being able to see her properly for the first time in ages. She does seem very subdued compared to how she was.
 
I happened to tune in this morning just as Ellis was flogging an angel. I haven't seen such an embarrassing and sickening show of insincere sincerity in many a year. Absolutely awful, turned over immediately but it's haunting me. xxxxxxxxx
 
I would like to know who or what she is hiding under her fringe. lol
 
I so miss Ellis on Ideal. Iv started watching the jewellery channel since Ellis joined, seems her shifts are wed, thur fri, mornings 10-2 and saturday 2-6 I think. I have made my first purchase today from the channel. In fact, if it were not for me wanting to watch Ellis, TJC wouldnt have got my custom. So Ellis has bought over from Ideal some customers maybe. Well me anyway. I will probably only watch TJC when Ellis is on, and am sure I will order more, especially because I like Ellis and want to support her. She seems really happy with her new job and is really good presenting jewellery. Well done Ellis.

Are you buying the jewellery because you love it or mainly to support Ellis?
 
I wish I had that kind of money so I could buy jewellery just to support someone and not because I really liked/wanted it
 
Im buying from Ellis hours to show support and also I know I can give a lot of things for presents. Im not interested in watching other presenters. Ellis has said last two days, she knows a lot of people are following her, staying with her from a previous life. So She recognises some Ideal viewers wil have hopped over to TJC to watch Ellis sometimes.Maybe she reads the threads here, if so keep up the good work El! She has so sttled in to the four hour stints which much be challenging as she didnt do four hours back to back on Ideal.
 
I use to work for Ideal World. Ellis decided to leave on a mutual agreement. She was off air for some time before hand due to a bad hip. She came back for a week or two and decided it was time to leave.

I knew this. I was eagerly awaiting Ellis return after her op, but as you say, she was only back a very short time. I dont think Ellis would like to leave Ideal without being allowed to just thank the viewers for their support of her over the 13 years she had been with Ideal. They could have let her least say goodbye. Nobody expected Ideal would want her to mention move to another channel, of course not. But Ellis is a professional and wouldnt have done that, they should have let her say a final goodbye and thank you and if Ideal didnt allow Ellis this then it stinks and Ideal have to some extent, gone down in my estimates since ellis left without even a mention, was insulting to regular loyal viewers of their channel. I still enjoy Ideal but not as much as when Ellis was there. I also regularly watch Ellis in her new slots on TJC and donw some shopping with them as a result.
