I’m going to stick with my Superdrug collagen facial products. Been using fo over two weeks now and really noticing the difference to my skin. On special at moment @ £7.49 for each of the day cream, night cream and serum so £22.47 for all three. Creams are 50ml each and serum 30mls. Now back using Garnier Micellar Water for sensitive skin 700nls for £6.

Very sensible Batti. I too am going to try the Superdrug items but they won't deliver to the caravan park where I am until end of september so I'll need to wait until I get home. I suspect I'll save a fortune. I love micellar water, the Simple one is reasonable and does the job.

Their Vitamin E Micellar Water is nice as well. I forgot to look for Simple recently, I usually alternate.

I notice the £4 discovery kit of the Optimum Collagen is not showing any more. I wonder if that was a pricing error given it had a full size serum and a 30ml day and IIRC night cream. That would be, scribbles on back of *** packet, worth around £35 wouldn’t it at full price? I mean, I know one would rarely pay full price in SD but even so… I bought the normal ones in store but then found those sets were still online, so bought a couple as well!

I use Simple micellar water to remove my make up and it works well. I tried the Elemis one and it stung my eyes. The marine cream made my skin go red and so, as far as I’m concerned, I’ll stick with what I currently use and now always give Elemis products and their shows a wide berth.

I tried the Simple Micellar & Toner a couple of months ago when they were on offer in Superdrug and I really, really like them. And unusually for me, I've stuck with them and haven't been tempted by anything else either. They're cheap as chips as well so I'm saving an absolute fortune.

I have no idea what this Micellar water is, or what it’s supposed to do…
Would I use this to cleanse at the end of the day? Instead of cleansing balm?

I love the Simple toner, and that’s often on offer in superdrug!

Yeah, it's just a cleanser CK. You just pour some onto a cotton wool pad and wipe it over your face. Quite a lot of brands have one in the range (although Elemis discontinued theirs). I've no idea how good it is at removing make up but the reviews of the Simple one are really, really good for it.

I must have been lucky as I got three of the discovery kits online for the price of 2 a few weeks ago. So I paid £8 for the three, so each tube cost me 88p.

Simple micellar is the best.
I use it to remove make up, and then follow with a wash off cleanser or balm.
I don't really need the second step, but like to do it anyway to feel refreshed. ☺️

I was under the impression that if you used Micellar water to take off makeup you should always follow with a second cleanse as it’s not designed to be left on the skin, maybe I’ve read it wrong 😑

Thank you! At those prices I may just have to try it…
Savers do a decent range of Simple products and their prices are always low…

I've used Micellar on its own for ages and it hasn't done my skin any harm. I often use the LE glow toner afterwards or the skin tonic one. My skin is quite dry as well but I like the micellar as it's quick and faff free. Can't be doing with wash off balms and the like.
