I'm in the market for a watch, and whilst I'd like a really beautiful designer one, I really don't need to be spending that amount of money. Does anyone own a Diamonique watch? Good or bad experiences? This one caught my eye today http://www.qvcuk.com/Diamonique-0.8...ct.619187.html?cm_sp=VIEWPOSITION-_--_-619187

Also to be noted I have small wrists, only 6 inches, so I'd need links taking out. Anyone had any problems with that?

I've never bought any Diamonique in general before either. Any issues with tarnishing etc? I would only wear the watch during weekends as I can't wear a wrist watch for work, so it wouldn't take too much of a battering.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts/tips

A few years ago I bought several Diamonique watches and had plainer ones for everyday (but not work) and more detail ones for other times. I always wore one of them and never had a problem. No tarnishing (I keep all my jewellery in the anti-tarnish storage) and they keep great time. The ones I don't use often I pull the winder out to save on batteries. I have larger wrists - about 7 1/2 and the links were usually easy to add or remove, but this may be different now. I love them - they look more expensive than they are.

I had one long ago, it had a square face with diamonique round the face and a leather strap. It worked fine and did not look over the top. But the outer silver overlay started to wear off over time and you could see a gold shade under it. I have a think about that happening so stick with steel ones now. As I have small wrists the links type I stay away from those, but Stagen at least you can adjust yourself without having to pay to get links taken out.

I have a diamonique watch which I bought years ago. It has a small face with stones around it and the 'strap' is also diamonique - it has a nice dangle to it. I think it looks as good as the day I bought it, and it is one of my favourite watches. I keep it in an anti tarnish jewellery box too. I also have a pearl diamonique watch which I bought at Christmas, and so far so good with this one.

i'd recommend this watch if you have small wrists, i do to and this fits perfectly!!! It's also very chanel looking.

I have 3 diamonique watches all very different designs a silver tone stainless steel bangle look, rose gold finish tennis bracelet and yellow gold rather old fashioned looking bracelet watch; I love them all. They keep good time and I have had lovely compliments on all of them.

And now thanks to CallmeQ and the link above I have another on the way to me!

Thanks for the recommendation CMQ, that's a lovely watch. Another to add to my list! I bought a Skagen watch the other day when they were on easy pay, it arrived today and I'm delighted, easy to adjust and very comfortable on my small wrists.

It's streamline and simple, yet somehow very classy and would do for a night out. Delighted with the silver and blue tone as suits my cool pale skin perfectly.
