Decleor TSV 28/3/15

I am concerned that Decleors Department Store presence seems to be diwindling further.

Further from the Glasgow HOF, and other counter closures last year, it seems the Harrods Decleor counter has now disappeared and the Bentals Kingston counter, which replaced the John Lewis Kingston counter did not even last 6 months.

I don't think SHISEIDO the parent company are promoting and building on the brand sufficiently!:mysmilie_10:

Every time I have seen Fiona present this new Micellar Cleansing Oil I have seen her enthuse about how it utilises the latest French Pharmaceutical Technology to produce this wonderful latest-technology magical Cleansing Oil. I have no reason to believe she will change her spiel during this TSV presentation.

The thing is this latest formula replaces the Aroma C White Cleansing Oil that was launched around 4 years ago. The comparable ingredient listings follow;

DECLEOR AROMA C WHITE Brightening Cleansing Oil INGREDIENTS: COCO-CAPRYLATE, C12-15 AKYL BENZOATE, PEG-20 GLYCERYL TRISOSTERATE, SQUALANE, PRUNUS AMYGDALUS DULCIS (SWEET ALMOND) OIL, ELAEIS GUINEENIS (Palm) KERNAL OIL. FRAGRANGE (PARFUM), BENZYL SALICATE, BHT. Ref. 611000.

DECLEOR MICELLAR OIL INGREDIENTS: COCO-CAPRYLATE/CAPRATE, C12-15 ALKYL BENZOATE, PEG-20 GLYCERYL TRIISOCTERATE, SQUALANE, PRUNUS AMYGDALUS DULCIS (SWEET ALMOND) OIL, PARFUM (FRAGRANCE), BENZYL SALICYATE, BHT. Ref. 469100.

Now you are free to scrutinise and compare at your own leisure, but all DECLEOR have done is remove the Palm KERNAL Oil. Oh and included the very fashionable Micellar word. Latest technology my arse!

It makes me laugh when she puts the mascara on the hand, then leaves the soaked cotton pad on it to 'melt away' the make up, we are always told to be gentle around the eye, well Fiona rely presses it and drags it to remove the mascara

It's sad to see Decleor become some sort of poor relation of a brand, compared to Elemis for example.
It's bounced back and forth between big companies, just like Philosophy and many others, as if no-one really values it.
When I hear of Estee Lauder taking a brand over, I cringe at the thought, because they always turn whichever it is, into a shadow of it's original self.

I couldn't agree more CG.

Just got a postcard but no other details than what the items in the tsv are and what time the shows are on.

Courtesy of Jill Franks' blog on QVC site:

our Decléor collection includes

1 x Hydra Floral in a fullsize (50ml)
1 x Aromessence Iris Oil in a fullsize (15ml)
1 x Micellar Oil in a fullsize (150ml)

Then you have a choice of either

1 x Systeme Corps Gradual Glow Body Milk (250ml)
or
1 x Aroma Comfort Systeme Corps Moisturising Body Milk (250ml)

A tricky choice, but to warn you there is less stock available in the body milk, so if that’s your choice you need to be on your toes at the launch.

The total valve us £151.00 but QVC are offering a price that we can’t resist at less than £60.00 + P&P and on 4 East Pay instalments.

I think she means value not valve ;)

I can't stand the smell of Hydra floral, I've tried to like it but just can't.
I'm the same with LE skin repair, no matter how good a cream is, I have to be able to tolerate the smell of it on my face.

Ahah this could well be my Easter gift to myself. The easy peasy pay gets me every time. To be fair I use Decleor all the time and it does last a long time. I always think I should buy when the prices are good - it never goes off.
