Debbie Flint - Please Stop

As far as I'm concerned this thread should not be so much 'Debbie Flint...Please Stop' as Please Stop Debbie Flint. I have tried to give her the benefit of the doubt these past few weeks but she irritates me beyond belief with her cheap selling tactics, the sudden rise in her already loud voice and the random over emphasis on certain words.
Usually I can let my less favourite presenters babble on in the background but there is something so irritating about DF's speech patterns that she breaks through. Perhaps that is why the powers that be brought her back?
There's certainly not much chance of ignoring her and I have hit that mute button more times since her return than in the last 6 years of watching QVC Personally I really wish she had stayed gone!

I couldn't agree more, it is nothing to do with her accent, it is the tone of her voice that grates on me, and she always manages to look as if she got dressed in the dark. I am really surprised and disappointed at QVC for bringing her back, she is so far removed from all their other presenters.

Yes Julian is also one of my favourite presenters, but the difference between Debbie and Julian is, Julian stayed and moved with the times and became an accomplished presenter, while DB moved on and got stuck in a time warp. I now put DF in the same category as Craig ... Mute button at the ready.tired

I go one step further - Off button at the ready for both of them

I was simply expressing my opinion Looby like everyone else does on this site. I don't need to be told about the off button as if I was an idiot, thank you.

Get you! I too was simply expressing my opinion just like you!

Same here, I haven't watched any QVC since she returned, not that I buy much from them but I did like to watch, she seems to be on everytime I turn on so I just turn off. Not much chance of me ordering now.

Just watching DF on the Kim Parrish hour and she seems much more relaxed and chatty than of late. I'm quite enjoying it. :up2:

I saw DF on the Kim Parrish hour too, and I thought exactly the same. She and Kim were joking around and she was being quite self-deprecating. And for once, she was showing some enthusiam for the product, or maybe that was me! First lot of fashion on OVC that I thought was wearable and not hideously over-priced!

It was good to see wasn't it? I bought two Kim Parrish tops a couple of months ago and I get so much wear out of them. I'm really pleased that I went for it as I don't have the greatest of luck with QVC fashion. I'd definitely buy more Kim Parrish.

She sounds exactly like Ellis from Ideal World.
