The club, based in Liverpool has been serving in excess of 70,000 members, since the late 1980’s and has an ever-growing reputation for its’ sales and service. The 30 minute shows feature a selection of cruises offered by the likes of P&O Cruises, Fred Olsen and NCL among others – and their huge membership has afforded them the ability to create unique TV offers solely for these programmes.<br /><br />The production was the brainchild of presenter and producer Derek Marks. Speaking to shoppingtelly.com, Derek told us “It’s been an amazing first production for us. Ten programmes in and we are learning more and more about what the audience want to see, and how plain speaking really does speak volumes. I’m really pleased with the end result, and the phones are buzzing at the cruise club. I’m working with some great talent to bring their vision to life, and it has kept me very happily busy for the past few months. I’m looking forward to getting on board myself and seeing life on the ocean waves.”<br /><br />John Cooper, the Sales & Marketing Manager of the Liverpool Cruise Club said “since we launched our programmes on Shop On TV we have been swamped with people phoning to join the cruise mclub, and taking advantage of the fantastic discounts that we offer to our members. The programmes are vibrant, fast paced, and well produced, and we have had nothing but positive feedback from everyone, and it looks like we’ll be on TV for a long time to come”.<br /><br />The programmes are currently airing on Shop on TV (Sky 659) at 5pm + 7.20pm daily and Information TV (Sky 166 + Freesat 402) at 5pm. Hello. I have a quick question. We have always cruised in late Sept to early Nov. since it usually only my wife and myself. We are considering crusing on the Jewel southern Itin. next August since we would like to finally take the kids with us. I know there will be alot more children on board since school is out , but has anyone had any other issues weather , etc.. with cruising in the summer months ? Any info would be greatly appreciated as I would like to book it over the weekend. Thanks.

We cruised the Med this year at the end of July and it was way too hot for us. The other downside is that there are huge ships in the ports, so it gets really crowded. Like you, we generally stick to either early or late in the year, when the weather's still good and the ports aren't too crowded.
