maymorganlondon - finally got my paws on these today and despite them being a bit small, i really like them. I just wanted something to go at the foot of the bed in this cold weather and they're perfect - did you send yours back in the end?

I'm glad you like yours. I have a fair number of fleeces so have different sizes... I dare say if I had nothing to compare, I would be pleased enough. They are not as good as the fleece bedding, for me. With all the faffing with Christmas, I may not get to it until next week.

I was in Aldi yesterday and they had sherpa fleeces and also Cashmere feel fleeces, both £14.99. Only in pale shades though. I had a stroke and they both felt nice, especially the Cashmere touch one.

I'm just beginning my 'fleece collection', but I'm hooked good 'n' proper!!!!

A friend recently bought me a fleece blanket for my birthday, and I wonder what I ever did without it! My dog (who, I might add, has more luxurious blankets than us!!) watches it like a hawk and, as soon as I leave it unattended on the sofa, he snaffles it!

I have used fleece for my dogs bedding for all his life and he is nearly 16. He has one that I got and embroidered his name and a dog in each corner when we got him. He does not like bought dog beds he would never us only to lay head on so for many years had fleece over a folded duvet. Though for the last few years he has had dog memory foam purchased from a foam specialist covered with a fleece.

Oh bless him. Is he the cutie in your avatar? That's lovely that you were able to personalise his blanket. The memory foam bed sounds good. Our dog has finished up with four beds, most of which have been gifted to us by various family members over the years. His favourite is the one in the kitchen, which is padded and covered in a super soft fleece. He always looks SO comfy in it! In the living room he goes on his blankets on the sofa (or on us, as he's very cuddly!) and he sleeps at the bottom of our bed at night. I know it's grubby, but we love him so much, and it does have the added advantage that we can give him a nudge when his snoring gets too loud! I am not kidding, he's like a pneumatic drill. SO loud for a little dog!!

Yes he is the one is pictured . That was him perched on the bed looking out the window. It is an old picture. He can no longer get up the stairs.
