Hi PT experts!

This takes the biscuit! From a PT novice, I could not see any colour in the necklace!

Missed start price, I think is was a silly price! Whats new!

Dropped to £49,999 and then £24,999, £19,999, 18,999, £14,999 and now £12,999

Just said someone bought it!

What do you think!

The stones were very washed out in colour. In fact, to me it looked like a paste necklace - very OTT. I don't think it looked classy at all which is a shame. Definitely too loaded and a candidate for less is more.

Who on earth do they design for? The Saudi Royal Family?

Tasteless rubbish - not even worth a £2k.

Hi all

Well it didn't sell earlier

It back on TV and price is £14,999! with TD trying to convince everyone that this is worth $600 carat. It's just dropped to £9,999!
What a load of rubbish.

I really think they have delusions of grandeur! The type of person who would buy a design like that a) wouldn't be buying from a tv shopping channel and b) would be looking to buy "the real deal" and not a mickey mouse version!

Sorry to burst your bubble Rocks & Co but you really need to stop thinking Harrods and start thinking Primark!

Exactly what I'm saying Fungeybungey - only the toffs like you would be attending the type of event where you would wear a piece like this. The rest of us would look a bit stupid wearing something like that to Asda or Tescos!

ps Don't you have anything like this left from the "job" or did you flog the lot to fund your Bahamas jaunt? :beachsmil:

I say Klinkbait, you should know that I can't flood the market wiv hot gear too soon or the rozzers will 'ave me in no time. xxxxxx

What I've noticed with quite a few Rocks & Co. designs is that they achieve a high carat weight through a multitude of 6x4 oval cut stones*. You have to work hard to come up with such preposterous stuff using 100s of identical gems.

(*Gems TV do the same, but with a load of 1mm stones :D )

Eurgh! If I had Gordon Brown's eyesight, Simon Cowell's money and Barbara Cartland's taste, I still wouldn't buy it!

That, as the saying goes, is mingin'.

At least with 1mm cut stones you're not so worried about the cut of the poor little things. A ton of 6 x 4 gemstones with windows, off centre culets and no saturation is dire (especially as they tell us that they're cut by master lapidarists!).

I reckon the recruitment process to bring on board one of their master cutters must go like this:-

"How long have you been cutting gemstones for?"

"2 hours"

"Is that your dog sitting in the corner"

"Yes, it's my seeing eye dog"

"Can he cut gemstones?"

"Probably"

"You've both got the job"

A small amendment if I may make so bold - lapidarist's infant son. xxxxxxxx <a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253Fpartner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxpt484YYGB%2526i%253D15%252F15%255F5%255F18%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_5_18.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252Fnocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egif%253Fi%253D15%252F15_5_18%2526uiv%253D3.0/image.gif"></a>
