So, as Gemporia celebrates the Chinese New Year, I wondered how much of what they sell is made in or sourced from China. Kimbie is made in China, so is Visage and too much of their jewellery is as well. I think that's why they made such a profit recently: they buy cheaply from China and then sell for extortionate amounts. What do you all think?

China is the world's shop. Everything comes from there. Even, as an aside, souvenirs from holiday locations that you 'want' to be made in said location, are made in the PRC. I think with respect of Gemporia and its relationship with China is as you say. With the only difference being, when it's the Chinese New Year, that's when the Chinese 'patterns' come out. Can't say Jade alone. That used to be usually around the CNY, but now it's year round. Initially, Jade I only used to associate with this time of year, but not any more. They've made it lacklustre through over selling.

It probably also means we’ll get wall to wall Jade Trough selling his never ending supply of Jade!
Did you know, the Great Wall of China wasn't bricks, it was Jade. And that's where DT gets it from. It gets smaller every time he comes back from China :p
