Apart from the odd landing when channel hopping, I've never watched a Charlie Bear hour. Can see why they would be popular though.
I don't particularly care one way or another about teddy bears, never really thought about them till reading all the various rows on here about them. I have seen them on, and I can totally appreciate people want to buy them and get a lot of enjoyment out of collecting them or whatever and that's great. I have to say though that I do find all that business of the way they're presented a bit odd. Can anyone explain why they do all that moving the things about to pretend they're moving themselves if you know what I mean? Why can't they just come on and say ' hello, here's a teddy bear, it's brown. Isn't it cute - would you like to buy it?' instead of having to have the thing waving in slow mo?
