Carmel - isms

She has just mis-pronounced yet another word.

She meant to say "in that instance" but what she actually said was "in that instincts".

If she isn't capable of understanding the English language, should she be a presenter at all?

I've heard so many of these mistakes on her part. Dale could hardly keep a straight face one evening when she was coming out with them.

She has her work cut out on this particular hour. The reviews for the Ahh Bra are terrible and she mentioned several times that some customers had reported (moaned, more like) that they rolled up. She suggested that they buy a bigger size. That must be the official line now. Flogging a dead horse I think.

Anna is seriously making Carmel look like an accomplished pro despite her 'isms' these days. I watched the Ojon hour and why, when speaking to the guest does Anna stare intently at the screen rather than the person she is addressing and not just glance at the screen now and again. She constantly said 'so, Ermilio' (or whatever the guest's name is), 'how would we use this?' while gawping wide eyed at the screen. You don't ask a question looking in the opposite direction to the person you're questioning. I'm sure the guest must have been wondering what on earth was going on - it looked so unnatural and bizarre. She hasn't cracked it yet has she. In comparision, Carmel is getting better and better. At least she looks more at ease and looks at someone at least for a second when she talks to them. I'm getting fed up of these numpties. Pipa and Debbie F still doing a great job though!

I find it hard to listen to Carmel & her (un) funny ways, but my biggest bug bear is how all the presenters mispronounce the word JEWELLERY. I know QVC is an American company but why don't they simply acknowledge our different way of pronouncing this word instead of getting all tongue tied trying to pronounce it as JEWLLERY. Grr

Ballantine is a bugger for this too. Concentrating more on looking down the camera instead of interacting with the guest. Depite his jolly demeanor hiis presentation skills are rubbish when you actually look at them. And the way he quizzes guests in that "have you done your homework" way is just embarrassing.

Caramel is getting better. Anna is terrible.
