Interesting. I am sure when I looked before it was trade orders only.
No, I've just looked and its for traders, AND for those who just want to make it at home.

I missed the tsv when it was aired, but its still available on the site and I've just ordered it.
I managed to order the TSV earlier this afternoon.
Does anyone have any tips for making a firmer fudge? I found the last few times I made it the fudge was too soft for some reason. Is it better to use less butter or water?
Thanks AndiK, that's all good advice, I'll use a bit less water and microwave for as little as I can get away with. I bought this kit with the intention of giving it as Christmas pressies, so I want to get it as good as possible:happy:
My DD was watching Calico Cottage fudge demo and the effusiveness got to her. She doesn't watch Q it was just the channel when she switched on :mysmilie_50: She couldn't believe it. Can't see the point of equating £100 value already made up compared to this kit. No shelf life when made up confuses me too.
No, strangely enough, it doesn't turn rancid, but I can understand why you think why.
I think the £100 value quoted, is when portions of the fudge are sold as bagged sweets. I know when I've bought a bag at craft fairs, I've usually paid about £2.99 for a bag with about 6 or 8 squares in it. So it doesn't take a genius to work out how much money can be made from one of these kits for £24 (incl p & p). For some reason its also far more expensive to buy direct from Calico. I have bought a few of these kits in the past, and bought a supply of sweety bags from Lakeland, and is one of the few items from Q that does what it says on the tin !!
... a trip to Lakeland is on the cards.
