Today TJC lost their greatest asset - John Scott has just finished his last ever TJC show. How they can let him go I'll never know. They should have broken the bank to try to persuade him to stay but instead they give favouritism to awful presenters like Chloe Marshall, Screaching Stacey, Vicky Browne, Liz Fullofherself et al.

John you are a wonderful person with a fabulous personality and a heart of gold. I am very privileged to call you my friend. Good luck with everything you have planned for the future, You will be brilliant as usual.

Yes I totally agree, I will miss John on TJC soooo much, he was by far the best presenter. I can't believe TJC have let him go either. He is totally irreplaceable. Best of luck John, although I don't think you'll need it because you'll be a success in whatever you do. A very sad, sad day. :heartbroke: :sad:

I can't believe what I've just read!! When was this announced?? I don't miss many of John's shows but this awful news is something I hadn't heard about and I'm truly gutted and very sad to see him go. :sad: TJC will have little appeal for me now and I doubt I shall bother watching without his sense of fun to cheer me up. I did hear him talk recently about moving up to Chester but I hoped he would still be able to do some shifts down here as I know his work takes him everywhere. John is a very genuine bloke and I shall miss him enormously. I know he will always be inundated with work and I guess he doesn't really need TJC but I wish the powers that be had persuaded him to stay as he truly is their greatest asset. I too loved JS, I wonder if he became tired of presenting the tatty under £10 etc days,being his usual professional self he didn't show it.
I think perhaps the J Francis range might have been the final frog in the coffin and who can blame him.

I totally agree that everyone has their own opinion and I have some very strong opinions on some presenters. However, I would NEVER make a negative post in a thread saying goodbye and where fans of said presenter were leaving lovely comments about him/her. I am very sad that this thread has been spoiled and would say - John, I know you will read this thread so please ignore the minority and enjoy the majority of posts from the people you have amused, entertained and befriended during your time at both Rocks & Co and TJC. We'll all miss you very much.

Aw, i didnt know he was leaving, but havent been able to tune in much with the shifts i have been working, I wiil be very sorry to see him go, he was a breath of frsh air, and its down to him i fell in love with moldavite, he sold me my very 1st piece.
