Thank you Vienna! I hadn't heard of findation.com but sephora.com/coloriq is very similar (obviously only matching foundations from brands that they sell). With the Avon foundation I was edging towards the ivory and that is what Findation said too!

Just a word of caution about finadtion( I have used a few times out of interest), I got some really strange suggestions for shades. I had been colour matched in a store for a brand and shade which is perfect on me, yet when I put others from other brands which matched me perfectly I got a totally different shade suggestion for the first. The more brands and shades you already wear the better it will work for you as the more information it gives the better.
