I have the MK 1 model, the new Mk2 has several improvements but I haven't heard one.

The Mk1 sounds amazing for its size.

The Currys price is less than I paid for my Mk1.

I am thinking of buying the pearl, to amplify the speakers on my HP laptop. We sell a lot of Bose products. Consumers are quite savvy when it comes to quality. Sonos is possibly a more popular speaker, than Bose, but more expensive. I have the Bose headphones, again to use with my laptop, and the sound is unbelievably crisp, and deep.
