Big build up for the "druzy"

The TSV has a platinum coating but I don't think that's unusual for druzy. The TSV isn't for me but I'd like to see what else is on offer.

I rarely buy jewellery without seeing it "live" because I have to love it. QVC works well for me because you get a good idea of what it looks like and if you don't like it there's no hassle in getting your money back. I buy less than I used to but there's only so much jewellery one woman can buy.

I do buy occasionally from Gems TV but it can be a bit hit and miss in terms of quality and finish.

I prefer to buy from local jewellers but there's often a premium to pay for buying locally but at least you can see exactly what you're buying.

A few months ago I purchase some druzy for the first time from an ebay seller thats well discussed on here. When it arrived I was horrified to discover it was plastic with sprayed on paint as there were bold patches. Needless to say I emailed for a refund and the seller denied that they did it, (even though it was there to see) and found that someone else had the same experience with a piece similar to mine and left feedback according but as this is the seller that INSISTS you leave positive or they will ban you. I just hit them where it hurt and will never purchase from them again.

They can't insist you leave +ve feedback - if they do then you must report them for feedback extortion. As you're never going to buy from them again, you neg them to warn others. So what if they ban you from their auctions? I'm 100% sure I didn't buy from this seller though. The pieces i've got are lovely and if I recall, I've bought from the same seller more than once. I bought them a couple of years or so ago. I tend to check feedback carefully though - and that means looking at the negs as well as their responses to negs which are the most telling of a seller.

Have to say though that ebay isn't the fun it used to be. Too many sellers trying to rip you off (with electricals) and now you can't see who you're bidding against I really do not like it at all. At least you could have half a chance at spotting shill bidding before. Also there's now a countdown to the end of the auction which means I don't have the same advantage as I did before with my sniping skills :giggle:

Hi Lottie, they've changed their policy a bit, must have been caught out and reported, Found the thread from nearly 3 years ago where it was mentioned on here and copied what the policy was which has now changed, edited this to show my correction "Please note that buyers who leave us less than " 5 STAR " rating will be automatically blocked from further biddings"

I do know at the time the other person reported them to ebay as I contacted this other buyer so they knew they weren't the only one and I just looked again and they no longer sell the type I purchased but the more natural looking. Seller is SI2007.

Bit shocked to see that as I have bought from them, but from their website, not Ebay. Now after looking at the negative reviews and their responses I won't buy from them again. There seems to be a common theme that the stuff is fake - I have always been happy with things from them but am now wondering if what I have is genuine. Thanks for flagging it up though lou - I wouldn't have known they were dodgy if I hadn't seen this.

The Druzy collection is nice and maybe dazzling, but the prices are beyond belief. It's selling well though, lots of items gone to advanced ordering.

I particularly like the Platinum versions, especially the rings, but I also like my jewellery to be good value for money and won't be ordering. Be worth looking later on to see if any turn up in "last clicks".

I wonder how suitable it would be in a ring. Obviously I can only go with the piece I have but I think it is quite delicate and I think it it was knocked the individual crystals could be knocked off.

I had no interest in this whatsoever, but seeing the presentations this morning,I do love the gold and platinum........but not the price!!!!

I was really taken by the platinum one and the platinum teardrop ring, but the prices put me off. I was waiting for them to sell out, expecting possible advanced orders so I could order and take a few days to think if I really wanted them. No advanced orders! Luckily has saved me around £100...
