Beauty clearance

I bought a couple of Gatineau sets that I wanted to try from last Clicks just before Christmas. Some great bargains at times

The Mally cream blush that I use every day is in last clicks, so I got another.

So is a pack of 10 evercolour eyeliner pencils. The packaging is a bit ropey but the pencil is soft and I wear the brown one every day. NB they are not retractable! I have sufficient eyeliner so didn't but but this works out at about £3 per eyeliner if you factor in the p & p and the range of colours looks good too.

It's just so disappointing when you tot up the p and p.
I know it's probably just mind games and if you included the p and p some things are still good value, but when I saw it totted up at the end and it was over £15 for 4 items it really makes you stop and think.

Remember in years gone by the beauty TSVs used to be fantastic value, I rem getting a Gale Hayman one in particular many years ago & the value was astounding, I was using the products out of it for months, You dont really get that nowadays x

The Fred Fekkai glossing cream set was very good value, even with the p&p. My mum said it's the best she's ever found as I bought her 2 sets as part of her Christmas pressie. I use it too, saved quite a bit & stocked up with 2 sets too. If you google the fekkai glossing cream it is much more, even on the good discount sites & most offer 118ml not 198ml as the one is on Q clearance.

Oh yes, sorry should have added, I searched the main review sites as I was buying 4 & never used it before but I know the Fekkai range in considered true top notch, especially for damaged, frizzy hair. It's only sold in a few specialist shops, my nearest stockist is Space NK in Bluewater. They were practically all 5 stars. makeupalley is great as all reviews are truly independent from a diverse range of people. Many said it was the nearest they could get to a hairdresser finish with minimal effort. You can also use it on dry hair as a revitaliser in weather that affects hair frizz. I love it, I have very coloured hair & extensions so this product certainly had it's work cut out lol! It will last a long time as you don't need much. Too much on finer hair can appear greasy apparently. I just found it calmed down, softened and shined up my hair. It's half price on Q clearance at the mo for the large tube & a trial shampoo x.

Lots of Frederik Fekkai in TKMaxx at the moment. Looking at the ingredient list, many FF products have the dreaded silicone in them. For such an expensive haircare product I wouldn't expect to see any.

YesmyTKMaxx has loads of Fekkai, in fact since well before christmas. We had and I mean three corner shelves full of Shisiedo before christmas as well.

You doing a Snarly Donna...?! (running the words into each other..!) I can't WAIT to get into T K Maxx, haven't got into town (Nottm) since well before Xmas and have been cooped up indoors most of the past few weeks with a bad foot, then a heavy cold, now the ruddy weather - there'll be bugger all left by the time I get there, I just know it! Bags/purses then skincare/smellies...let me at it!

Oh, TK Max has been calling to me too Carol.

On Tuesday I was actually on my way but didn't get out of our lane, waylaid by a neighbour struggling to take her recycling bin back in when she realised the bin men would not be coming. One cup of tea led to another, a bit of snow shovelling and ..... I didn't get there.

Still stroking my Osprey leather handbag bought in TK Maxx in Jan for £32. It sits in the cupboard next to my existing full priced Osprey leather handbag that cost me over £200!

Got over excited when typing this morning.

Yes, TKMaxx can be a treasure house if you hit at the right time. L'Artisan Parfumeur at £24.99 for 50mls, Armani,Tocca and Penhaligion candles
