BE eye primer

Thanks to all your great advice, I've been using the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer and it's the only one I've found that works. However, I was on the last BE auto-delivery programme and now have three tubes of their brightening eye primer. I've not tried this yet as have loads of UD to get through, but wondered whether anyone has tried the BE one and whether they think it works? I've tried the original BE eye primer and that was ok, but I've heard the brightening one is not as effective.

I don't like the Brightening range at all personally, the eye primer is very sparkly (ooh Rain Man!) and tends to drift to places you don't want gold sparkle. I gave mine away, lots of sisters/nieces! The face one is better, but not a patch on the original one IMO. I have the normal eye one in the pen type applicator and didn't think that made too much of a difference either, my shadow still drifts into the creases come afternoon.

I didn't like the BE eye primer at all (the original one). It made my eyelids look crinkled and old ..... mind you, it seems everytime I use any BE (except the Buxom lipglosses) I age about 10 years...the 'minerals' accentuate every line and imperfection, making me look like one of those photo apps that make you look much much older. I really like the idea of it all, but now have a case of BE that I cannot use. Getting back to the primer, it did not hold my eye shadows in place either. Sorry not to have anything positive to say about this !

I need to stop reading all these posts. I didn't realise I needed the UD potion so badly till I read all the rave
reviews about it. 

I like the brightening primer but only use it on its own as my fave look is black eyeliner & a bit of gold sparkle. I used it under the pink eye shadow from the 3rd AD and felt that it dulled the colour and I needed to use too much.
