YES, I heard that too, how odd!

He pronounced a few gem names incorrectly, which would make me question his knowledge of jewels. He was also referring to the crystal by names of gems. If he said paparadscha - he mispronounced it - crystal, that is one thing; to refer to the stone as paparadscha, is erroneous and misleading.

In Holland (and i think Germany too) they say 'Fooksia' so maybe he is giving it the Swarovski pronunciation?

I think he has said in the past that when he is saying the names it is the name given by Swarovski
