If I managed to assemble this (26.5kgs) and find somewhere to put it, there is no way I could actually get down on the floor to use it. If I did then there’s no way on this earth I’d ever get up again! Even if I bought the frame still wouldn’t be able to get up. Wish they’d use larger, older unfit ladies to demonstrate.
Great comment. I wish they had older and larger models for fashions as well.

I have one of these and do use it. I then broke my hip, and emailed Marjoleins company - they very kindly sent my through some recovery exercises and with the physiotherapy that I had, I am now fully mobile.
I do wish though that they would have a range of people using this machine when demonstrating it.

And I bet they don't labour the fact that you need space to save you putting it up and taking it down, as so many have commented in this thread. There are many other ways of exercising that don't involve spending £500 and taking up a room of your home, if your home is even big enough for a start. And if like me, you've had any sort of surgery, you'll be directed by physios and doctors about exactly what exercises you can and can't be doing, sometimes for months. So if you're a potential customer for a joint replacement, for example, it's not a good investment.

So that narrows it down to the healthy, wealthy enough to have a spare room in your house where you'll be sheltered and warm, and fit, really.

I had to laugh so much when the woman rep said “ it’s so easy to do I can pop it in like an ironing board in the cupboard 😂 Jill said “ oh do
You “? Totally taken by surprise 😂 can’t make it up

Not planning a home gym then Merryone?! I am well past that, I do a bit of walking these days and that is enough for me.
Lol! Definitely not - I need to put on weight not lose it! Ok, I know it's not all about the weightloss aspect but exercise does promote that...I guess I could fill up my entire living room and scoff doughnuts at the same time!

Everything you've said here is spot on! The highlighted bit however, yes and no. Of course QVC are primarily interested in the customer for whom money is no object, and have large aspirational homes that they want to fill with the latest high end gadgets, soft furnishings etc and want that brand name on show. That's not what they're all about though is it? It's the aspiration -You only have to remember back to the dreaded Qurio videos of people's lovely homes being turned into what looks like Del boy's lock up because they've bought all the gizmos and gadgets they've not got room for. Q don't give a $hit if you've got a spare room or enough space, or even whether you can comfortably afford the stuff they're flogging, they know they'll get their money. In the case of this Aeropilates machine they'll stand there and B/S about how easy it is to fold and store away - No it isn't who's got a cupboard big enough or empty enough, who's got a bed big enough to slide it under, who's got the strength to hoick it in and out of storage? They should be honest and say this will be a great addition to your home gym, or to pop into that dull room in the east wing that you never use! They'll never do that because they know that good old Beryl from Scunthorpe is listening and believes that she can squeeze it into her two up two down terrace, and that she can squeeze her pension money so she can buy it. You don't have to be rich to buy from QVC but it helps!

I love mine. I've had it for years and don't regret buying it one bit. I keep it folded up when not in use. I don't find it cumbersome. I would say don't by it if you're not excited by it at that price even to try.

Do you know what I think this is the beast I was trying to remember. I initially thought it was called "accent" but when I googled it,another perfume of the same name kept coming up and it definitely wasn't the one. Had another search today and found this and I reckon I was right all along, although I thought the lid colour was a slightly lighter blue, but it was a long time ago let's face it. So yes, I think I've finally found what I was looking for. This is pretty much the bottle I described and the name I thought it was so yay! I can sleep easy now! Blast wrong thread it needs to be in the one about presents oh dear! Reposted it now!
