I disagree Autumn - I bought the Anniversary box full of wax melts. I have them coming out of my ears. lol!

I don't wanna say it (and lucky for me my OH isn't on here), but I don't think I need anything. I have quite the collection now - large jars, wax melts, samplers & tea-lights. Although I could probably do with some tea-lights, but the chances the TSV is tea-lights is very unlikely I recon.
 
My TSV was dispatched yesterday and according to the tracking system I should receive it today :)
 
I ordered some bits and bobs from Yankee Doodle on Saturday, just a small parcel not large candles etc. They sent them first class post yesterday and they came this morning! I think that is jolly good for a non-couriered item and a lot quicker than Q's mail service.

Received my TSV - the Blueberry is lovely smelling, the Red Velvet isn't as bad as I remember it being, and the Banana Nut Bread is out of this world - it definetly smells like bananas (with a kick).

I got the melts for the Q3 Indian Summer range today and plan to buy the large candles to go with them. I hope Q does a cheap three pack then I can just buy one of them online plus all the tea lights. I cancelled my 4th Q AD, as I already have Xmas candles, to finance them!

That is just the set I mean SCW, thank you. Sadly it shows as sold out at the moment but I shall keep my eyes peeled ready for when it comes into stock as a non AD item as the previous drops have done. If I can get that it will only be Honey Glow I need to track down elsewhere.

basically id call up & see if they have the stock already because i know people have done that & got them already like
 
the wild fig smelled very faint does it burn with a stronger scent. nothing bothers me more than a candle with no smell that cost me £20
 
How many more flippin' candles do we need?! Gawd! I like candles but recently there's been candle overload! Vanilla candles are my favourite, but they have to be a proper vanilla, not sickly and sweet and synthetitic or butterscotchy!

So I noticed that QVC requested the money from my bank for the auto delivery a week or so ago and on my QVC account it says 'awaiting stock'.

I decided to send them an email about this, because I was sick of waiting and had this reply tonight:
"Thank you for contacting QVC
I am really sorry to hear that your item has not been dispatched to you within our delivery timescales
I have looked into this and we are currently experiencing a stock issue with this item and have not been able to send it to you.
We are working to resolve this and we anticipate being able to dispatch your order sometime during the next 30 days.
If we are unable to send your order to you during this time period we will contact you by letter to advise you that we have cancelled the order.
If we can help with anything else please get back in touch with the team."

I must say, I'm really annoyed by this - surely QVC have an obligation to provide this as they essentially sold it to us.
I'm more annoyed because I really wanted this auto delivery too...
 
Annoying is just about right, warwa! I never knew they had YC stock issues for AD, I always assumed they were organised. But I thought they only took the money when they had the stock and were sending it off. That is what they say onscreen for advanced delivery so is AD different????? Cheek of them!
 
cancel the order rather than offer you free postage so much for the best customer services ever....not!
 
This isn't the first time they've cocked up on a Yankee Auto Delivery either. You'd think they'd learn from past mistakes, but obviously not.
 
wonder whether the "stock issues" are connected with multi hundred thousand pounds worth of Yankee candles that went up in flames on the lorry carrying them several weeks ago? It caused rush hour travel chaos on most of the roads in central Bristol?

I emailed QVC back, expressing how upset and angry I am about this. I told them I don't think it's acceptable to just 'cancel the order' if they can't fulfill it - they should either be sending out a suitable substitute to those who want it, or offering the original money paid back. This is the first time this has happened to me regarding an auto delivery, but I'm not going to let it go any time soon...

I also tweeted Steven & Rosa. Steve replied and said I would have to contact QVC as he has no idea why and Rosa replied saying it was all in hand and both Yankee and QVC are looking into it!!!

I have no idea why Q still offer Auto Delivery. They seem to cock about half of them up.
Hardly the service we should expect from the 2nd best company in the country is it? (I know they're now 3rd, but they don't seem to be mentioning that yet, no idea why)!!
Well done for persisting though, I hope you get a good result.
 
Thanks Sazza I never knew they were destined for Italy! I assumed that they were being driven to Bristol rather than from it as the head office and a large depot is in Bristol. I had just assumed that USA exclusives actually come in from America rather than being made here.

Anyhow still no answer as to why Q seem incapable of securing stock to satisfy Auto Delivery customers. I always wonder why it takes them so long to re-stock and even with "regular stock items" the CS person can never tell me when stock is expected in. And don't get me started on Waitlist!
