I agree the outfit Anne had on did not do HER any favours, however IMHO I think that if you have a good figure, you are slim and you look good, you can get away with a short skirt, and it won't in those circumstances look like mutton.

I think when you get to Anne Dawson's age the hem line should be just above knee at the shortest,regardless of how slim the lady is.

Look at the likes of Madonna,who looks ridiculous now IMHO

Not sure how old Anne Dawson is. Is she in her 40's? if so thats not old to be wearing a short skirt, depends on how you look really in MHO.

Not sure how old Anne is - I would have said early 50s. I think Madonna looks silly now - and has gone so far with the workouts she looks like a wishbone - after it's been picked...

It is not just about hemline but about how the outfit is put together as a whole. If you are slim and have good legs then why not. Just don't flash the flesh on the top half at the same time perhaps.

Some people in their twenties make a short skirt look tarty and someone else in forties looks chic so age is not the only issue.

When I saw the KVZ show, I couldnt believe what I was seeing - I was in total shock that she was allowed to be on live TV looking like that! I couldnt stop laughing.

Excellent post! Could not agree more. If you look good then why not wear a short skirt. Age is irelevant because in any case if you look slim and and look good noone would be able to guess your age anyway. i like Anne dawson but she the outfit she wore was not correct for her.

The youngest day I ever was I had dreadful legs and would never dream of taking a chance on a mini skirt looking even half right on me. But I used have good boobage and a small waist and that's where you were supposed to look.

I happen to think black doesn't suit AD.
