I was glad to see Ally. Never liked the way she just disappeared from Gems seemed very strange at the time but then the same happened to others !! It was a bit like they had their very own black hole !!!!

I'm sorry, my heart sank when I saw her on Rocks last night and I switched over straight away.
My two overriding memories of her are an extremely grating voice and her baps hanging out at 8 in the morning. She was one of the real screetchers on Gems and I couldn't stand her voice, though if she manages to keep that under control and refrains from wearing tops cut down to her navel, I'd probably quite like her. (Is it any wonder that it's all the men who are pleased to see her back?! :tongue:)
 
Is Ali going to be a permenant presenter at rocks or was she a guest presenter like Ian Danter was at one time.does anyone know,
 
I thought Ali did really well last night presenting on Rocks for the first time, can't be easy getting thrown in at the deep end the way she was.

Do you know, I'm not familiar with her (although having googled her I'm sure my OH too would be thrilled to watch Rocks with me if he saw her!) and I went to bed early last night.... anyone know if she is due on again? I never liked Rod or Rae (or Matt much - sorry Mummybear) at GTV but like them at Rocks now they've settled in.

What a really nice surprise to Ali presenting on Rocks Tv - such a lovely, vibrant, bubbly person, she will fit in very well with the other presenters at Rocks Tv. Always missed both Ali and Emma, when they completely disappeared off the face of Gems. :flower::flower:

You beat me to it! :giggle: I was horrified at some of her outfits, she looked liked she should be in a sleezy bar...not on my telly trying to sell me jewellery, I wondered if the headlamps were new and that the novelty of flashing them would wear off......apparently not. And then there is the voice, I couldn't stand it, had to turn over. :bandit:

couldn't stand her either, rocks seem to be hiring the worst of gemstv presenters, who next adina :mysmilie_466:
 
I just saw her for the first time over the last 2 nights. I thought she was very good and didn't shout or keep repeating herself. Just adorable and a very nice addition.
 
Even though I'm an old gal, I'm still constantly surprised at how differently we can all view the same thing/person. I think Ali is charming and, if I had her pretty ****age, I expect I'd be putting some of it on show. Although I'm a straight woman, I can still appreciate a pretty young bod. I understand that her voice might be a little high for some ears, but for me what comes out of it is way more important. Far better this, than the shrieking, pushy, seriously misleading, sell at any cost presentation from some of the other channels. xxxxxxxx

It was on one of the other channels where the screeching used to occur Argey and I must admit that I haven't watched her on Rocks, as I was too dismayed and switched over at once. As I said in my post, if she can keep her voice under control, I might even grow to like her, but I'm afraid I can't agree with you on the ****age issue. There's a time and place for everything and 8 o'clock in the morning whilst I'm having my breakfast isn't one of them!! :wink:
