I watched the programme and agree she found it hard to control her emotions and was especially upset that she hadn't spent as much time as she could have with her aunt to realise what was happening. I found it moving that her aunt was ashamed at being conned by someone who she considered a friend . She had nothing to feel ashamed about, the thieves should, but of course they never do.
