Very pretty plant and tough as old boots as RJ would say

Make sure you plant in full sun otherwise they probably will not flower.

I had some in a slightly shady border for six years and in that time had a grand total of 3 flowers. I know I should have moved them!

cracking!

I love peruvian lillies. They are pretty tough and I have a couple
of sizeable clumps in my garden that flower all through summer.
I still had flowers into November.
They have been there a fews years now but they have never been
any problem.
They do need plenty of sunshine to flower well and good friable humousy soil.
It must be well drained to get them through the winter.
I have definitely bought these. Bargain!

I will start them off though in pots of good compost and a
good feed to build them up. Their roots are brittle and they dont like being
disturbed too much. They sulk for a bit. Saying that though
I will be splitting my mega clumps this spring so lets hope
they dont sulk too long.
