Flicked on to see that the graphics are not longer 4:3 safe and are optimised for 16:9 viewing.
Can't praise QVC enough on this one, they're one of the few TV channels with enough guts to do it. Surprise surprise people are whining on the Facebook page (despite 16:9 CRTs being literally 99p to buy on eBay!).
I personally think its a good thing and improves viewing.. I always wondered when they'd do it. It probably also has something to do with bridging the gap to their eventual HD graphics for when they broadcast in HD.
For the sake of a few people moaning.. I think it was well worth it.
I mean, channels in the UK started broadcasting in 16:9 over 10 years ago, and only now we're geting to see some of the benefits of it regarding space for graphics.
