Helene Berman Edge To Edge Coat with Slim Collar
L:aura Geller The Best of the Best Baked Full Face Basics with Brush
Magic Bullet Kitchen Express Blender & Food Processor
Bell & Howell Set of 2 Tac Pens with Tool Keys in Gift Boxes

I bought the TSV tac pens with lights, a 2 pack, but one light didn't work so both had to go back.

Poor reviews as far as I can remember.

In fact, they are currently at an outlet price already at 1/2 price.

I wouldn't mind having the magic bullet express. I've had a regular magic bullet blender for years and whilst it really isn't any good as a serious bit of kit in the kitchen, for someone like me who isn't the main cook in the house, it's fabulous! I make smoothies, shakes, grind granulated sugar down into caster/icing, make omelettes, scrambled eggs, pancake batter, breadcrumbs, grind coffee beans, even made peanut butter in it and so much more! One of my favourite things I do is bung in a lump of cheese and a small piece of chilli, grind it down then bung it in the microwave for less than a minute and pour it over tortilla chips.
OH bought one years back after seeing the informercial and of course he was really disappointed when it reduced a small onion into an uneven pulp, and made him a "salsa" that was more like a muddy looking soup - that was it for him and he refused to use it anymore. Even now when he hears me using it, he shouts "are you using that useless thing again?"! The 10 seconds or less tagline, I agree is complete fiction, you do have to pulse the ingredients quite a lot, and take it off the base and give it a bit of a shake to redistribute the contents - but I've really got the hang of it and I wouldn't be without it!
We have got a food processor with a myriad of blades and it's such a big bit of kit to get out and set up, I tend not to bother using it, this one looks much more simple and compact and I can see myself using it a lot - He would go ape if I bought it, so it would have to be hidden..so I won't - I'm getting too old for this kind of hassle lol!

They are showing the presentation from LAST Christmas, and saying it is on AO and you will get it mid-December, but it is actually in stock at the moment.

This would be extremely confusing for people who didn't know all the tricks and cons pulled by QVC.

I have a Magic Bullet and bought it during the Woolworth closing down sale.

It was good, but before long it began to leak from the bearing where the blade goes through, and into the motor, so that was the end of that!

Just watching the presentation, and a I thought the woman was wearing a CROWN! You will have to watch to know what I mean, starting from 1 minute 23 seconds.

Funnily enough Oh has just made some pea puree with mine, and it worked a treat...This is literally the first time he's used it since he decided it was a heap of junk so many years ago! Out of the blue he said can I use your blessed bullet thing, I don't want to get out the food processor...I was thinking "Oh God, here we go!"

FYI it’s Lucy Piper

Tempted by the magic bullet. Though I don't hardly cook from scratch 😂😂😂 The demo is so funny. Made a point of saying you won't have smelly hands from onion and garlic then scooped out the mixture into her hands.

Has the Laura Geller sold out? It's showing as not available. Thinking it would make a nice Xmas pressy.

Here is a review I found from when it was on last year as a TSV.

It was written by someone called Stratobuddy.

I received the set of 2 today, and the torch on one wouldn't work.

Because I had 2, I was able to swap around the batteries, main bodies and torch heads, and it was always the same torch head that wouldn't work, so it was a permanent fault (and yes, I did remove the insulators on the batteries).

On the torch that did work, it was not very bright, and as someone has said, the on/off button is not only tiny but totally unprotected, so it would be impossible to keep it in a pocket or bag without it turning on accidentally and draining the batteries, so would be dead when you actually needed it.

The pen worked OK, but I noticed that the spare refill was only an inch long, so probably wouldn't last long, and I've never seen any like this in the shops when it needs replacing.

One was intended as a gift, and one for me, but as I have to return both together to get a refund, they are now both packed up and ready to return.

If you want to see something really funny, look up the original informercial...it's flippin' hilarious..it's about half an hour long..but worth it for the comedy value!...and yup we fell for it! However, as long as you realise that despite it being a really useful thing to have, it has its limitations but it's still well worth buying, even if you only use it to make smoothies and milkshakes. If you buy one nowadays, the orignal one, not the processor one, you only get one blade, it doesn't include the whipping/grinding blade, and the special mugs it's a lot cheaper. My original one which I paid far too much for gave up the ghost after a couple of years good use, and i've replaced them a couple of times since, but I've hung onto all the attatchments 'cause they still fit the new models. Seriously of all the products I've been influenced to buy by watching informercials -magic bullet is up among the best, if not the best. This morning I've aleady made a fruit smoothie, an omelette, and turned some stale bread into breadcrumbs and bunged them in the freezer for OH to use! If it wasn't for the fact that OH has taken early retirement and is home most of the time now, I'd have bought the processor one and hid it somewhere..but as I said before when am I gonna get the chance to use it without him seeing and giving me a load of grief?!

This is going on my list of 'reasons to be cheerfully single' as opposed to my list of 'reasons not to be cheerfully single' which includes 'putting the bins out' 😭 don't know if that makes me easily pleased or a sad mare.

I'm often fascinated by infomercials. I visited my daughter when she lived in America and every morning I'd watch them. They were mesmerising lol. Now we have the same here.

That blooming Opatra thing does my head in. Sold cream with an RRP of something like 500 squid then dropped price to around a 10th of the price. I'm daft about beauty products but not that daft. Think it's TJC or something. I put dear Angela Lansbury (Murder She Wrote corny but so nostalgic) on the TV on Saturday mornings and it's on before that. Now that is corny. How they get away quoting inflated RRP prices is beyond me.

Joke...obvs....no implication. Don't try that at home.

Context: Someone at uni was once trying to sell russian hamsters - there was a notice on the board saying how small they were & that you had to tape up the cage bars to prevent escape. Shortly after 'go live', graffiti appeared on the advert. It said: 'Small enough to fit up anus'.....which I found hilarious & still do. The advert was in the computer science area & full of 'weirdy beardy', very quiet, insanely intelligent software engineers, which added to the comic value for me. Hope this clears things up.
