MISTAKE ALERT! :doh::blush::whew:

Oops! I just noticed the detergents Q are selling are the big dose-yourself bottles and a box of powder, and not the TwinDos bottles that go in the bottom of certain machines that automatically dispense.

They're still working out a bit cheaper than buying direct from Miele, but the TwinDos bottles are cheaper direct if you buy direct. Sorry :blush:

I've used this for about 10 years. Get it from the Pound Shop:

Does an excellent job. I generally put the microfibre cloths that I use to clean my cars in with my wash. They go in absolutely filthy and come out pure white! That's the acid test for me, and the Easy powder passes it every time.

Ooh! Made by Jeyes. I'll look out for this when I'm passing. I'm happy enough trying anything new, picked up some faves on the way, and will keep the automatic dose stuff for OH - better safe than sorry!

What temperature do you wash your car cloths in? Do you keep them separate from normal washing? I'm allergic to something in car polishes and have only washed them by hand after a good soaking so far (with rubber gloves on), but that's a pain.

I`ve used the Easy powder but the Inspirations one which is similar to Bold and is biological. My local Home Bargains sells it for around £4.99 for the large family sized 75 wash box. I have sensitive skin and my clothes don`t really get dirty as such so I prefer to use a green detergent as much as I can, usually Faith in Nature or Ecos brands but my hubby is a landscape gardener and his work clothes get covered in soil, grime and sweat so they need a heavy duty washing powder. The Easy biological is as good as other branded powders such as Surf or Daz. It does the job on hubby`s work clothes.

I usually wash everything at 50c or 60c on a synthetics cycle. I just shove everything in the same wash - double duvet cover, towel, clothes, car cloths - everything. I make a point of only doing one load per week. As Vienna has pointed out, the Easy powder also comes in a biological version. I would defer to her experience on that since I have always used the non-bio as being allergic to house dust mites I have to wash everything at higher temperatures. I'm sure the bio is good too. Like I say, I have used the non-bio product for many years and found it excellent. Nothing can touch it on price and the quality is really good. It comes in various scents. I personally like the blue one since this isn't assigned a particular fragrance - it just has that fresh nice soap powder smell to it. My second choice is the green aloe vera one and my third choice is the pink one - I forget what the fragrance is but I like it.
