    julia's such an opinionated bit*h

Perhaps baby Luna was born at the time of a full moon or on a Monday and her parents thought it was an appropriate name to give her instead of Moon, which I know is also used as a first name.

    QVC Calender

If it were in aid of charity, I could just about understand it. They obviously think of themselves as celebrities, rather than sales people!

Yes, last week, she definitely said she would be on again today.

    please qvc.....

Have any of you who want to start card making looked at Create & Craft on Ideal World? Dawn was the one on QVC who inspired me to start a couple of years back, but I much prefer the programmes on C&C.

Yes, I've often noticed our local Wilkinson stocks C&C labelled goods - a lot cheaper too, even without the p&p!

GRRRRRRREAT sneaky preview to fashion day

Mrs J - Do you think you could find me something that's a cross between a poncho and a circus tent? Believe it or not, I did see one once and it looked so fetching on the model. My preferred colours are snot green or psychedelic yodel. In anticipation. Many thanks

    Phones at Liverpool

I am divorced and still going by my married name, so get called Mrs, Miss or Ms by different people. Personally, I prefer Ms in my situation, but it doesn't really bother me. However, if you correct someone who has used your title incorrectly, they should, out of common courtesy, call you...

    Debbie paver

Yes, we used that at school. "NOW PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS" was printed at each perforation. The playground assistants would only give us one sheet at a time and we had to use it as tracing paper when we ran out in the classroom!!!!

    Markon presenter yesterday

Did anyone see her yesterday? Don't know her name - can't watch her for long. She kept saying 'these aren't for you if you don't like .....' - I don't think the producer will be too happy about some of her comments. Also, she mentioned about not getting your p&p back if you return goods...

    60p mysmilie

Whenever I return anything (and it is not very often) I pay the office to use the franking machine. Not only is it cheaper than buying stamps, but I find it is safer too as the postman comes to collect it each day and franked mail gets priority treatment. Touch wood, I haven't had anything go...

    Overpackaging

I'm sure companies get fined now if their packaging waste is excessive. They have to complete a form every year online with the express purpose of trying to bring down their waste each year. I know it probably does save them money having just a few 'standard' size boxes, but such a large...

Are QVC breaking the refund rules under Distance Selling Regs?

:doh:You should accept the prepaid label and demand your original p&p. It is the original p&p they are obliged to refund anyway under the DSR rules, if I have understood correctly, not the return postage, which is usually a lot less than you paid in the first place. Double whammy if you can...
