My dear old dad used to work in the furniture trade and he still gives similar advice. Go for the best you can afford and look at how the furniture is constructed, whether it's a bed or a settee, then it will be more comfortable and that is after all, the priority.

For me with hair products, it's not the price, it's the ingredients. I can get away with SLS in shower products but not shampoos so it's trial and error and I keep going back to Tigi Catwalk which I buy wherever it's a bargain. It's also good for highlights. I also use Wen from time to time...
