I too used to take time off work so I could catch particular shows that I was interested in. Used to love the jewellery. I have some pieces of lovely handcrafted silver, Lavagi, Suarti, South Western etc. but the current crop of cheap looking eek does nothing for me. And as for...

Just a heads up for those who like the throat gel. I've been finding it harder to buy lately, from Q or anywhere else so I asked about and eventually asked Andrew what was happening with it. He has confirmed that the gel is being reformulated to be part of the Defilift 3D range and...
Marla Wynne - over hyped, over priced and over here.
Some of the designs are awful IMO, but even the nicer stuff is outrageously expensive. I would love to get these so-called designers into a room and challenge them to justify what they charge for their stuff. I bet most couldn't. It doesn't...
Must just be a typo on the website, but this is the product:

"QVC presenter Jill Franks Gordon has chosen this product as one of her desert island beauty essentials - something she simply can’t live without!"
Just noticed on the QVC website, in the description for the Perricone No Foundation, that JF is named as Jill Franks Gordon. Where did the Gordon bit come from? and when? I've never seen her called that before.
I don't mind Chloe so much but she ticked me off over the Kipling bags, she kept giggling like a girl. Then on the next show, with Skechers, there was more giggling, singing of made-up songs and everything but the products. To be fair, any presenter behaving like this would annoy me. I watch...
I like her, she's one of my favourites. She's not totally up herself and doesn't fill the show with her life story. She's always cheerful and I would much rather have her than most of the others. Each to their own :)
The thing that has driven me mad this year is that bliddy hair dryer. Can't...
The programme didn't stay on long enough for me to notice her makeup. Utterly sick and tired of seeing this bloody hairdryer on air and taking the last 20 minutes of other shows for it. I wonder what arrangement they have with Dyson to make them push this so much.
I have a Tony Little treadmill, remember him? Seriously, it's great. I use it to hang all the clothes on that I want to get into. Perhaps one day I might actually unfold it and use it! :D
Seriously though, good luck :)
No problem with regional accents and slang, but there's no excuse for lazy grammar. I don't get how QVC want to sell super-expensive posh high end clobber but use salespeople who can't even use basic good grammar.
Just wondering what happened to Julian? I remember seeing him on IW and he was introduced as though he was going to be a permanent presenter, but I guess he didn't like it there? or didn't get on?
I remember one when Anthony was presenting a big flat screen TV and was flipping through the channels to demonstrate it and found a programme that had a screenful of very large rubber "phallic symbols", if you get what I mean ;) He didn't notice for a while but once he did he tried to turn it...
And the thousands of hours of gardening will still be boring. Good luck to him but I won't miss him either, although if he's still going to be on as a guest seller, I should keep improving my aim.
Not directly related to P&P charges, but it does bug me when they send out items in huge boxes which the courier then refuses to take back because it is too large! They delivered it to start with, so why not? In the end, I phoned Q but they didn't really want to help, just suggested I shove it...

I liked her and thought she did a decent job. She did speak quickly but at least it all seemed to be about the products and less of her life history and corporate drone mentality. I saw her when she was on with Glen and they seemed to work well together. She knew her stuff and Glen...
