    Ninja TSV 31/10/21

I can honestly say this new Ninja is amazing, my 9 in 1 is pretty useful and really does do all it promises but the two lids are annoying so having this and the added bonus of the temerature probe is incredible. I do think its a high price though, even with all the features. It won't replace...

    Kirks Folly - She’s back

That 'ornament' I mentioned, it's £33 full price, says a lot about the brand now I think, what a mark up!

    Kirks Folly - She’s back

The rainbow Bridge shimmer 'ornament', I got a set of 2 from Amazon beginning of last month as part of MILs birthday gifts, both for £10 on prime free delivery, exactly the same colours and length as this one supposedly by KF. The only difference being the brands tiny charm and I do wonder what...

    Christmas Drinks ????

My hubby is a Hullite and remembers the Avenues well but not the advent bit, sounds lovely. I've done christmas drinks with friends for years but no massive gifts. Like others have close friends and who get together on weekly basis. No pubs for us.

    Kirks Folly - She’s back

The fairy thing was harmless when it comes to Kirks Folly, a bit girly but it was no cult. I watched a couple of shows with slight amusement and everything has a following - everyone's point of view is objective. I purchased from QVC some cherub pins I think they were KF, to give out to members...

    Clinique TSV 28/09/21

Another who found Clinique far too drying on the skin, a few years back, I wanted to like it but it left my face sore. I tried to covince myself it was because it was cleaning so well but I got a sense of using moisturiser to stop the drying and a being stuck in a vicious circle and actually not...

    Jill Franks

Same thing happened to me a few yeas ago upon leaving A&E, not as drastic but as I walked out the dept, felt hot and wet down my arm, looked at it and saw blood dripping onto the floor and then a trail of blood drops behind me, such a weird situation. When I finally learnt the water revelation...

    Australian Bodycare TSV 31/08/21

It is dull radiomike. I did a skin wash count in my bathroom the other day and found a litre that had been forgotten about. It's too much, even for me and my family, we have 4 ltr bottles. I don't like lavender was disappointed with the eucalyptus, citrus doesn't appeal so not interested in this.

    L’Occitane TSV 11/07/21

I love the handcream on the warm option but cannot stand the almond stuff, so for me I will not buy any. I don't think the rose or shea happy hand creams are the same quality as the intense hand balm, despite them selling the other two for more money. Although it looks like the warm option is...

    Now we know.....

The other day coming out of Sainsburys there was an Air Ambulance charity 'cart' and I was in a rush and said sorry not interested, under his breath a few seconds later her cursed me, I'm not sure what he said but could tell by is tone he was not happy.

    Skechers TSV 20/05/21

It does take a long time to get used to Birkenstocks and if it is just too painful, I well understand the stopping, with my first pair they were toe posts and I kept going back to them and one day BLISS. It takes about 2 weeks for me and I have a new pair which I'm still uncomfortable with but...

I've gone back to Birkenstock, aren't they pricey now and they weren't cheap before.

    Slientnight TSV 19/05/21

I was just thinking, imagine a polyester topper being like a duvet under you, with this one SN are saying will provide a down like sensation and is anti allergy, so what they are doing is trying to match feather for feel and give you anti allery properties which a normal polyester topper will...

If your present mattress is not so good then a topper is good move so go for this one. Here it is on SN's own website

    Slientnight TSV 19/05/21

I've had a memory foam topper [hot] (back when there was legendary thread about them on here); a feather topper [too soft]; my 22 y/o has a wool topper [nice but needs regular airing to stop it from getting too solid] and I'm on what's considered the best topper by mattress experts, a latex one...

    Skechers TSV 20/05/21

I have some gaudy fake tye die crocs sliders which are used as slippers, very comforable and I wouldn't be seen dead with them on outside LOL. Theses Skechers are awful.

    Stockpiling...

So true Vienna, I once looked after some friends puppy for a week while they went on holiday, I adore dogs and grew up with them so thought it would be a doddle. I ended up staying up all night with him as it didn't feel right letting him cry and be alone in a strange home. It was many years ago...
