    Confused web site search

Know what you mean. I placed an order on net last week, to get the instruction "error in placing order, please save details" etc etc. Using past experience, I didn't, but the day after, the order did appear on my account. Same happened today, so I rang CS, only to be told "check your bank to...

    Orek TSV

Hi - I got one a couple of years ago. No better than the usual cleaner IMO. You have to replace the bags. The fact that it will go under the bed is useful but I replaced mine with a Dyson, as I find the "on board" tools more useful. Not cheap at the price either.

    Panasonic Camera TSV - Sunday

OK- I realise it was a bit of a dopey question :54: What I should have said was - any idea of the model. P xx

    JR Queen Bee

Totally agree. Think it's time JR was put in her place. She might be the longest serving presenter, as she never ceases to remind us, but that doesn't mean she's the most professional!. As for that particular "performance", she was literally begging for Tcallers in the end. Says it all :18:

    Emu, what's the difference?

Don't worry about it - I think most of us are guilty of that :1:

    'Emu' boots

Yes - I also got stung for VAT & postage. Queried it and found out that PB's postage only covered goods to the "port of entry", therefore I got charged Parcelforce costs from port to me. Then charged VAT. £77.00 all in all. Tried to challenge it with Customs & Excise and got nowhere...

Computer Shop TSV Sunday - any ideas?

Brilliant! I've already sent two of these back :11: P x

    Yeah yeah yeah!

Totally agree with this post - thought it was just me that was getting fed up listening to her. It comes across as being totally bored - "yeah yeah yeah" (yawn yawn yawn) P xx

    Emu, what's the difference?

The stinger is pure sheepskin - really thick and gorgeous and about 1/2" deep. It;s a lot thicker than the merino which is also pure wool, but quite a bit finer. Size: I take a 5.1/2 normally and ordered a 6, which fits perfectly. Re buying from Puddlebeach - be very careful. I ordered from...

The Craft TSV did you go for it?

Yes, I bought it as well. I got one from another channel 18 months ago but it didn't have as many blades. Daughter is having that one and I'm getting the new one with extra blades & paper. Have to say, the cutter is great & the different decorative cuts are lovely. P

    Clickfree auto back up.... opinions?

I've had 2 of these. The first one didn't save properly so I returned it, the second one (which I didn't order but was a replacement) I sent back because Norton gave me a nasty message saying Clickfree had tried to access my PC and it was "high risk". Needless to say, that one went back also...

    Sara Griffths

I was watching her the other night on an item I particularly wanted to watch, and had to turn the sound off. She was gabbling so fast she was doing me head in :45: Pauline x

    Pilates machine

Maybe the wrong place to put this, but Ideal World have an alternative Pilates machine. It was on last Saturday and looks to be half the length of Margerine B's model. Looks very sturdy but not got the extensions for the bed to run on - looks to be weighted at the other end to compensate. At...

Lime Tree Pantry NOT traditional Bakewell!

Same here - we usually go to Bakewell about every 2 months, look at the craft shop etc and always buy a Bakewell from that shop. Pauline xx

Lime Tree Pantry NOT traditional Bakewell!

Funny that, as both me and OH were watching that particular programme and said exactly the same thing!. A Bakewell tart it certainly wasn't :9: P x

credit crunch - what are you doing?

So far, lucky not to have been affected. We both retire this year but our pension pot is protected, thank goodness. Unfortunately, according to banks etc, no interest to be had anywhere, so will have to be careful with lump sums when they arrive. Have cut back on QVC shopping lately and tend...

    Pilates machine

Did anybody see the Pilates power machine that was on on Saturday. It's the same principle as QVCs but is definitely a shorter machine. Maybe lighter as well because there are no extending bars at the back of the board. Just wondered if anybody had one. I desperately need some form of...

    AY's new word!

And ..... let's not forget "jump to the phones". If she said that once last night, she must have said it a dozen times before I switched her off. P xx :32:
