Interesting selling point from Anne Dawson

This cleanser was by no means cheap though. Nearly £15 + P&P for 250mls. I use Boots sensitive cleansing lotion with costs me about £3 for 200mls - less if I get it on a 3 for 2. And it does the job and shifts eye makeup... (those of you not keen on mineral oil or parabens may want to avoid it...

Interesting selling point from Anne Dawson

It was the new 3 in 1 cream cleanser from SBC that comes with a microfibre cloth - that apparently is their very best cleanser!

Interesting selling point from Anne Dawson

Nearly as successful as Chloe's method earlier in the day! The guest was waxing lyrical about how brilliant the product was at removing the toughest of eye makeup and mascaras. Chloe then decided to demonstrate this on her own eyes. The gloop was spread all over her face and eyes and the guest...

    Judith Williams Rose Oil

I've been using the Trilogy Rosehip oil antioxidant recently which is really nice. I think a 30ml size was about £15-20 from Boots. Can't remember had it ages. It contains mostly rosehip oil plus tomato seed oil, cranberry seed oil, sunflower seed oil, and acai seed oil. There are no essential...

    bobbi brown eye makeup

I had a look at the new Bobbi Brown eye cream sticks in HoF the other week. The colour range is very limited and apart from one shade which was a grey/ slate colour they were too shimmery for me. Didn't buy the grey one though because it was pretty much the same as a colour I had already in the...

    Pants on Firealash!

Yes the products which contain the glaucoma treating active ingredient in pharmaceutical level percentages probably do work. For patients with glaucoma the lash growth and darkening was an observed side effect (along with more serious issues like permanent changes in iris colour). But any...

    Elemis - 03/03/13

To be honest if they only have a dozen testers for each product there really is little point in doing any kind of statistical analysis. But I know they do and make a song and dance about which are the supposedly best products from which ever comes out with the highest average! Nonsense...

    Elemis - 03/03/13

Surely if this was any kind of proper scientific trial (which of course it is not) they should be providing you with unlabelled and unbranded products in plain packaging with instructions how to use.

What did you like at QVC and where are you buying now?!

It just struck me that QVC could sell a diet chef version of the 5:2 diet - the 2 days bit anyway because you're supposed to be able to eat what you like on the other 5. We will send you all you need for your 2 days for a whole month in one box to your door. So here's a box of individually...

What did you like at QVC and where are you buying now?!

AAAH the 5:2 diet. I read the book on the bus to work a month or so ago but haven't quite plucked up the resolve to take one of the 2 days yet. In the meantime I've probably put on a few pounds. Perhaps a weekend is not the best time to start - excuses, excuses...

    Pants on Firealash!

If claims are made that it GROWS lashes then it is classed as a medicinal product (not a cosmetic product) and would need to be administed only via a prescription.

    Pants on Firealash!

Also please don't fall for the story about the wife of the optamologist who invented Rivatalash. That is probably a true story but the formula he invented then (which did contain bimatoprost at a quite high %) has subsequently been completely reformulated.

    Pants on Firealash!

Not sure it's a good idea to recommend forum members buy unbranded products from Ebay to put in their eyes! Also whilst the formulas containing bimatoprost (used for treating glaucoma) may be more effective at thickening lashes etc. they also carry risks - and as far as I'm aware Rivatalash does...

    Mario Lorenzo Designs

But it might be a good prop in a remake of "One million years BC" - Raquel Welch could use it to carry her bits and bobs in...

    Return slip/ invoice missing?

Yes - never returned anything. Not bought too much either apart from stuff I know I use (like some skin care). But last week decided to delve into QVC 'fashion' and found a couple of items in clearance. A Berek Jacket (103391) and an Ingenue dress (105709). The Jacket is a keeper but the dress...

    Return slip/ invoice missing?

Can anyone help? I need to return an item to QVC but there is no return slip or anything in the package to complete - just a return label to stick on the parcel. Is this normal? Seems a bit sloppy/ unprofessional not to have any invoice in the package or instructions about how to return...

    CEO Email Address

Does anyone have the email address for CS (to inform them about using DSR)? I don't want to use the contact form on the website because I'd like a copy of the email - for future chasing... Best wishes, J

    Lesley vs. Glenn vs. Carla

Just been watching the fashion show with Julia and Lesley as the fashion 'expert'. I like her style of being the 'expert'. Calm, not too cliched. Just wondering how others like her - vs. the other fashion 'experts' that QVC use that aren't affiliated to a particular brand (I know Lesley does...
