    SPF Factor. Argh!

Olivia, apparently AY is originally from the Darlington area & unfortunately, that's how we talk in this area. Southerners can't always seem to understand me, I have to put my posh voice on sometimes so I can get my point over, lol!:giggle:

    What happened to Eek-a-Tan?

I bought it from Salonlines as a present & they were really good & I'm not trade. Also got some from Amazon, from 3rd party seller. Good prices. Just checked & there's free P&P if you spend over £15 on www.ecotan.net.

    Feedback on advice received

Me too Donna! I'm still using up Liz Earle so I've yet to try my Nude, thanks! BusyMum, have you tried the mineral powder foundations to cover the redness around your nose? I use the Avon one & it covers excellently.

    Smashbox Jet Set Eye Liner

Sorry GP!! :wait: Not sure if I was clear in my post but I've used my Bobbi Brown gel liners on the inner rim of my eyes & this was where the MAC one really irritated. All of my colours are frosted ones & the Ivy shade is particularly gorgeous. Hope you find one that suits your inner rim, as...

    Smashbox Jet Set Eye Liner

Hi GP, I got a very similar reaction when I tried to use MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack. My eyes felt so dry & irritated & I had to remove it. I haven't tried Smashbox liner, but the Bobbi Brown gel liners are fantastic for this. They hardly budge all day & I wouldn't even know I was wearing it.:sun:

    Ultrasun TSV 3/4/10

:hi: Philosophy Girl, please can you tell me how often you apply the Face SPF30? I've just bought it from www.ifsogo.com (fab service, received next day - £14.99 & free Ultrasun lip balm) & when I've read the leaflet, it doesn't say it's once a day, which I thought it was. Also, PG, do you use...

    Orek..desighn fault or just faulty?

Hi Lemonsqueezy,:hi: If you're looking for an alternative to your Oreck, I can highly recommend my Dyson DC24, which comes with a 5 year guarantee. I've had mine 2 years now & it is very lightweight (5.4kg) & easy to use. It stores well, as the handle pushes down & makes it compact. The only...

    Ooh, hangers.......

Thanks Suzi Q!! :mysmilie_687: You have made up my mind for me now. I don't live close to a Primark, but I do to Dunelm Mill - I'll be straight down there to stock up & take today's buy back to TK Maxx. I did get some lovely bright pink ones in B&M Warehouse before Christmas, 5 for £1.99, but...

    Lauren Luke Make-Up

This is the link for her make up line - available to buy online http://shop.bylaurenluke.com/products.html I did read that she was hoping for it to be stocked by Boots, but don't know the outcome. I have 3 Kevyn Aucoin books & he was a true genius with makeup. I did buy a couple of items from...

On air Liz Earle New Essence

I tested for the Beauty Bible earlier this year & was somewhat mislead. When the email was sent inviting you to apply, they said that they were testing for an update to the Beauty Bible & any package you received would be worth at least £100. I sent my £30 to cover admin charges & the parcel I...

Beauty TSV bags that you remember/still have

I have a peachy coloured solid vanity case from LE, from when her products were 1st launched & the products & muslin cloths were peach & white. It's been a great bag & kept it's looks. Also, have a nice large pale blue soft zip up bag from LE. I too have the purple velvet Elemis bag that seems...

I really wanted to like this, but tried it in JL on Thursday & I thought it was awful & quite overpowering. I was expecting a lovely fresh, clean smell & it's anything but!

Is this the QVC Forum? Where are the postings relating to QVC Breast Cancer Awareness

If anyone feels they have missed out, a lot of the items that were shown as SOLD OUT on screen, are still for sale on the site. I think the higher cost of items has stopped them from selling out this year. If you do a search on the QVC site for Breast Cancer Care, it will bring up a list of the...

    Philosophy TSV 15/11/09

If anyone is interested, I was in TK Maxx on Tuesday, they had lots of Philosophy flavoured lip glosses for £4.99 & small bottles of Falling In Love body lotion, for (I think) £6.99. I'm another one that doesn't like the skin care, but LOVES the shower gels. There is a seasonal one coming out...

Breast Cancer Care evening, Thursday 15 October 7-10pm

I've just been reading the Breast Cancer Care website & it gives information on this years evening: - "This year’s special Be Aware, Show You Care programme will be broadcast on Thursday 15 October from 7 to 10pm. A wide variety of products will be sold in aid of Breast Cancer Care, including...

Ultrasun instructions 'reapply frequently to maintain protection' what!

Worrier, I found Parasol on Amazon last night, it seems to be the cheapest & they do a SPF25 for children which states it reduces sun induced allergies, so I'm going to try that one & see if I can avoid prickly heat. Just waiting for my credit card to be billed so it will go on next months...

Ultrasun instructions 'reapply frequently to maintain protection' what!

Thanks for the info on Parasol everyone!! I hadn't heard of this but I do get terrible prickly heat if I use P20 or Bergaderm (which has now gone back to being called Proderm again!), so I'm definitely going to try Parasol for my next holiday.
