It's jealousy, plain and simple - they don't like the fact that you bought your jewllery from a retailer other than themselves. Which is bullsh*t really because regardless of where the item was purchased originally, the jeweller in question still gets paid for the service they've provided to...

I have lots of sterling silver Diamonique that has become horribly tarnished. I was just wondering if it is safe to put it into a tub of Goddard's Silver Dip? It says not for use with shell, pearl, opal, or any other porous stone, so I'm guessing DQ would be ok?

I have had things stuck "In Process" for a whole week before - they do eventually turn up but goodness knows what takes them so long, I think they must go out and mine the silver themselves or something :dull: (I only ever order jewellery from QVC).

Exactly, other places - Amazon especially - offer a free postage service, and more often than not when I order from there my purchases arrive the very next day, whereas with QVC and the £3.45 or whatever they feel the need to charge unjustifiably I can be waiting over a week for things to show...
