    POTD Vitamix Refurbished

It's the refurbished La Dea underwear I'm waiting for, the old damp cloth and rolling pin routine:grin:....

Wiggy Lee The Acer guy's terrible habit.

My point is that just because you work in the public arena it does not automatically qualify you to receive abuse. The sooner the small minded people in society grasp this the better things can start becoming. If someone wants a gripe because they think I am too grumpy or didn't get the answer...

T caller with £1,500 worth of Yankee Candles!

Maybe she lives in a castle.....

Wiggy Lee The Acer guy's terrible habit.

What tosh! I bet anyone who uses this excuse would never confront a sales assistant in the shop and subject them to some of the 'abuse' [for that is what it is] that goes on in here. I work in a public facing job [not sales] and get fed up with people who think they know how to do my job based...

Wiggy Lee The Acer guy's terrible habit.

I will listen out for it next time 'bags'! [It was late at night after all]:hi: What I DID notice were the fingermarks on the touch screen when the light shone on them. Now if I put two and two together it's a bit gross!

    Sunday's Acer TSV

See, you girlies have it easy - either a frock fits or it doesn't. Technology for 'ver lads' is a more complex beast. I had an HTC with the android system and found it to be the most cantankerous, un-user friendly system I have ever used where none of the apps work properly, I switched the the...

Wiggy Lee The Acer guy's terrible habit.

I read this post with amusement and amazement as I spent an hour watching the TSV presentation and not once did I think "where's that sniffing coming from?" - I heard none. Maybe it's because we all pick up on different things or are just looking for things to dislike.

    Kanban £1/2 million giveaway

I'll go with 'what'. I am presuming the rest of the post didn't get through. I wonder if the August giveaway is included in the Win24 list of competitions they try and enter.

    OMG Ricarda M skincare

I am intrigued to see this lady now given this reaction to someone's looks. Is she claiming that her skincare range caused the way she looks? [Why should the inventor be the prime example of their product?] Would the same reaction apply to Andrew from Gatineau who sells creams, lotions and...

    Sonia Bitton Jewellery

It's the terminology that makes me laugh, regardless of their position in the market. "Surprise Price £2,700" "Two easy payments of £980" Too rich for my blood....

    Absolutely,Absolutely,Absolutely!

Maybe the presenters have a sweepstake going to see who can say it most in one show.

    Assorted observations !

I am so glad you mentioned the Perricone - I saw the show last night with Alison Young. It is probably down to individual taste but £192 for a small pot of mayonnaise? £400 on a handbag is a bit "quoi?!" but I can understand lovers of handbags getting their enjoyment from such a product. But...

    Absolutely,Absolutely,Absolutely!

I did some radio shows in the past [nothing famous of course] but one of the things you did was to listen back to your shows and critique yourself. You hear the crutch words you fall onto. I was under the impression that this happened on shopping TV too, shows were reviewed. Surely they must...

Oh Craftman, I think you'll find it's like trying to get a dog to give up a bone.

    Win 24 - What a con!!

The fact that you answer every reply with a five page essay Ben shows it winds you up far more than it should! Chill.

    Win 24 - What a con!!

Why get so tetchy Ben when someone wants to have a debate/conversation/alternate view? You clearly used 'con' in the title - to draw people into reading your post. Ironic given your subject matter. Everyone on here seams to agree that is clearly a poor offer and amounts to gambling. It panders...

    Michael Jackson - Dubious

Great reply in the style of the newspapers. Dodge the point and make your own agenda. "When the evidence becomes overwhelming you have to start listening to it." - what "evidence"? The ton upon ton of bilge put out by papers with one concern - making money? I would only start listening if...

    Michael Jackson - Dubious

What really is tiresome are those that base their accusations on hearsay and newspaper articles that are, of course, so well known for their accuracy. No-one is perfect, my idols were the Carry on team and look what they have been accused of posthumously. I wasn't there, you weren't there so...

    Jackie Evancho

Isn't this why the Mini Pops were dropped in the 80's and now the government is trying to stop youngsters becoming too sexual and too commercial too young? This kind of youthploitation is why every one under the age of 16 thinks you don't need a job, just get on a Simon Cowell show and you are...

    State The Bleedin' Obvious...

Oh heavens no! To me, the clothes are aimed at girly girls or ladies. As I lean more towards the build of Bob Hoskins than Tom Cruise I know they ain't for me! Even if I was TV I would steer clear. From reading the other threads, I wonder how QVC would react if your reason for...
