    Congratulations Joan Collins !

I think she looks great! Yes, her look is on the heavy makeup side....but she is old school glamour and toned down she just wouldn't be....joan! Good on her for maintaining the glamour I say!

    Gatineau TSV 6/7/14

Useless old Floracil again (which just doesn't work on modern eye makeup!)

    Sara Griffith...

I've had fairly good results from Mavala Eye Lite serum from Boots. You can use it on lashes AND brows as it has a little mascara type brush. The reviews on Boots.com are good and it's only £13!

    Yankee Candle 10th Anniversary!

that was my favourite and I've never found anything to match it. I think the nearest I've found is White Gardenia, but it's missing the sweetness of TTF.

    Yankee Candle 10th Anniversary!

I do wonder about some of these people who tweet in with entire shelving units and sometimes WHOLE ROOMS taken over with YCs. They must have spent thousands on scented wax - many that they would never burn.

Q presenters--- take a back seat

I used to quite like the Benefit shows, but since they started all this GOOOOOO VERTICAL!! shouting, I can't bear to watch! There's very litre difference in price, but I can't bear the hard sell of the Benefit sales assistants on the high street.

    Lessons in Beauty TSV 30/6/14

I want a new face for that.

    Yankee Candle 10th Anniversary!

I was tempted by the set with the peach and blueberry in, but I'm starting to feel Yankee are losing something recently. The last few large jars don't seem to have that strength of fragrance as they used to and haven't burned that well, despite all the long burning wick trimming etc. Think I'm...

    BareMinerals launch a Liquid Foundation!

What a ridiculous con. Surely the whole point of BM is the loose minerals and nothing else concept. The way they have brought all this ready/liquid stuff out in response to a few litigious Americans terrified of a few loose particles is a joke! Surely, if you don't like powder/loose minerals...

You can get a free Eyeko eyeliner pen with Glamour mag (£2) this month.

    WEN Haircare

Must admit I am more than prepared to pay.....but personally I've been having equal or better results from the dreaded high street. If I could use NOTHING else due to an allergic reaction, that may be different, but for me personally, I've decided to literally stop washing my money down the...

    Mally Shadowsticks!

I have the Maybelline Taupe and find it smudges on well with my finger. Lasting power is good too.

Ha ha they do! Thank goodness they're not scented!

The makeup on the Tarte show

Just noticed Jilly looks like Aunt Sally tonight too!

The makeup on the Tarte show

....is SO heavy! Really heavy dark foundation, dark eyes and almost white highlighter/concealer under the eyes! Not a great look. I do really rate Tarte but it's living up to its name tonight.

    Mrs Bibi's new word

I noticed the constant EDGY feeling at the TSV launch last night! Surely they can't ALL be edgy?!

    Stacey & YBF

I agree that the MP (and I'm guessing YBF) is/was terrible quality. I too bought that vanity case and it was vile dry powdery cheap stuff, with little pigmentation. I stupidly gave it a chance with another more normal TSV too and it was the same- plus the packaging broke very quickly...

    Philip Kingsley TSV 17/6/14

It did nothing for my hair really (I ended up chucking a load of it in the bin, as it'd been lurking in the cupboard for so long!). I think it's very overpriced for what it is.

    Anti-colour fading shampoo

Scott Cornwall Colour Restore is excellent for reviving a faded colour (albeit not permanently). I've used the red one and it's very RED! Just be careful of your towels/bathmats/hands/tiles etc. You can buy it in Boots. Around £11.99 but you get several goes out of a tube.
