Do they ask you when ordering if your buying a item as a gift?

Oh, yes, hadn't thought of that duh!

Just a bit of fun songs I think are well matched to QVC presenters and guests

"Shiny happy people" - all presenters.

Do they ask you when ordering if your buying a item as a gift?

I was wondering about how this worked as well. Looks like you have to ring up to ask about it basically. Otherwise, the only way it would be more 'proven' (in a way) to be a gift, would be if you were getting it sent to a different postal address from your own.

Thanks supercool, wonder what it is?

    Gift sales patter

"Not living in the real world." Too right! The 'gift drawer' should only consist of some small boxes/nice quality bars of choccis or some nice soaps or individually wrapped small candles or a nice pair of socks - that type of thing - no individual present costing more than a fiver!! The...

    Molton Brown TSV 11/10/15

Oh, and another thing: I don't 'stockpile'; I have one on the go, and one - and only one - on standby in the cupboard (unless it's a particularly good 3 for 2 in Boots lol!, but seriously, I'll only buy one of the 3 for 2 offers, not bulk buying). Maybe it depends on how fast you work your...

    Molton Brown TSV 11/10/15

I've found as I've gotten older, that since I don't use scented face creams (a bit of rosacea on my face), it's lovely to used scented products on my body. But I do spend a bit on natural quality products, without spending too much on them, if you know what I mean - particularly wash on/wash...

    Molton Brown TSV 11/10/15

I've never used Molton Brown, but it seems to have some definite fans! For me it's all about the ingredients lists, so I tend to stick to the mildest most natural products I can get for bath and shower - and I try not to pay too much for it either, so that involves hunting stuff down! Also, to...

    Julia Roberts

Julia is the best presenter on QVC. She achieves just the right balance between being friendly (hence the anecdotes about her life) and professional (just listen to the way she gives the proper information on products and puts guests at their ease; she might give you a little chit chat, but...

    Is Marv for real?

I've read interviews with black film stars where they address this issue and have said how important it was to them to see their own ethnic group on television/film when they were young. It is very touching to actually think about this, what it means, and the real difference it could make to a...

    Deservedly Award Winning Customer Services

"... I posted back a nearly £300 broken Caci machine. Five minutes after leaving the Post Office I broke out in a cold sweat, realising I should have got extra insurance for it." I would have broken out in a sweat too, although it would be five minutes after paying £300 for something! Yes, QVC...

    Julia Robert's Hairline.

I, too, think it's just the downy hairs picking up the dye, so, I think the best thing for Julia to do about this is, with lightly moisturised hands, just sweep the fine hairs upwards and outwards instead of just letting them settle downwards.

What rules and regs would you enforce if you were in QVC Personell department?

There is only one rule and regulation needed: give the details of the products - don't let the whittering replace the information. Julia is the best at the job: she gives the information, and she points out any issues that people may find with something - she also fits in the right amount of...

So Which Of These Would You Like To See QVC Work With???

    Dolly with everything.
  15. M

Bit of fun - Which QVC presenter would you like to lunch with......who would you not

Julia and Ali K: they could regale me with tales of their travels to gold and gem fairs in days gone by - you know, the days when we used to get loads of gold jewellery flung at us on the q and diamonique set in solid gold, including 18k! (When I think back to those days, I could kick myself...

    Model on Lola Rose hours

I'm going back to amend the word - the word being those things you put in your ears! Have put in a * to replace the letter a, because otherwise you're hot linked to ebay! FFS!!

PS I did not hotlink the words in my post - it seems to have happened automatically!

    Model on Lola Rose hours

Catherine is a great model! Simply the best for jewellery shows because she looks like a bond girl - glamorous and sexy but also has an engaging smile and gorgeous eyes, can speak up well and articulately about the products when asked what she thinks of them, and most importantly has great ears...

    Liz Earle make up.

@chinagirl "Does anyone really want patchouli on their face." More importantly, does anyone want to put grapefruit on their face: citrus juices/oils are photosensitising!
